1. Druk herhaaldelijk op de MENU (7) toets tot het CTCSS code nummer (F) in de LCD
display knippert. De CTCSS code 00 geeft aan dat er nog geen CTCSS code
geprogrammeerd is op dat kanaal.
2. Druk op de CHANNEL OP (4) of NEER (5) toets om het gewenste CTCSS code nummer
te kiezen. Als u deze toetsen ingedrukt houdt, verloopt het kiezen sneller.
3. Om uw keuze te bevestigen en de Menu stand te verlaten drukt u op de LOCK toets (12) of
drukt u op de MENU (7) toets om naar de volgende functie over te gaan.
Als u de code 00 kiest wordt de CTCSS functie uitgeschakeld. Om te communiceren tussen 2
of meer portofoons dienen het kanaal en de CTCSS code hetzelfde te zijn. Om te
communiceren met portofoons van een ander merk of model dienen de actuele radio
frequentie en de CTCSS frequentie hetzelfde te zijn. Om u te helpen met deze keuze is in deze
handleiding een frequentie kaart en een CTCSS code kaart bijgevoegd.
RF zend sterkte instelling
Uw portofoon heeft een HI/LOW sterktekeuze functie. Deze functie is erg handig om stroom
te besparen en daardoor de levensduur van de batterij te verlengen als u communiceert op een
korte afstand van elkaar. U gaat als volgt te werk:
1. Druk 2x op de MENU (7) toets tot de Hi of Lo (F) iconen in de display knipperen.
2. Druk op de CHANNEL OP (4) of NEER (5) toets om het gewenste niveau in te stellen (Hi
is hoog, Lo is laag)
3. Om uw keuze te bevestigen en de Menu stand te verlaten drukt u op de LOCK toets (12) of
drukt u op de MENU (7) toets om naar de volgende functie over te gaan.
VOX (handenvrij) functie
Uw portofoon is uitgerust met een instelbare Voice Operated Transmitter (VOX) functie, die
gebruikt wordt voor automatisch stem overdracht (handenvrij gebruik of als baby monitor). In
deze stand wordt de overdracht automatisch geactiveerd als u in de microfoon (8) spreekt en
hoeft u dus niet op de PTT (15) toets te drukken. Om de VOX functie aan te zetten, gaat u als
volgt te werk:
1. Druk 3x op de MENU (7) toets tot de VOX (D) icoon en de OFF indicatie in de display
Verschijnen.
2. Druk op de CHANNEL OP (4) of NEER (5) toets om de VOX functie aan te zetten; de
On indicatie verschijnt in de display.
3. Om uw keuze te bevestigen en de Menu stand te verlaten drukt u op de LOCK toets (12) of
drukt u op de MENU (7) toets om naar de VOX gevoeligheid keuze over te gaan.
VOX gevoeligheid niveau keuze
1. Druk 4x op de MENU (7) toets tot de Le indicatie, het VOX (D) icoon en het VOX niveau
in de display knipperen.
2. Druk op de CHANNEL OP (4) of NEER (5) toets om het gewenste gevoeligheidsniveau
in te stellen (Niveau 05 geeft het hoogste niveau aan)
3. Om uw keuze te bevestigen en de Menu stand te verlaten drukt u op de LOCK toets (12) of
drukt u op de MENU (7) toets om naar de volgende functie over te gaan.
4. Als de VOX functie aanstaat, verschijnt het VOX (D) icoon in de display.
5. U kunt nu de hoofdtelefoon-microfoon aansluiten om handenvrij te spreken en te luisteren.
Spreek dicht in de microfoon om de VOX functie te activeren.
