Update
Unter Windows XP haben Sie die Möglichkeit, die Unterstützung von
PlaysForSure und Windows Media Player 10 (WMP10) Update für Zen Micro
zu aktivieren.
Bei aktivierter PlaysForSure- und WMP10 Update-Unterstützung benötigen Sie keine
Treiber, wenn Sie den Zen Micro an einen Computer mit Windows XP (Service Pack 1
oder 2) und installiertem WMP 10 anschließen. Auf diese Weise steht einem nahtlosen
Datenaustausch zwischen dem Zen Micro, WMP10 und Windows XP nichts im Wege.
PlaysForSure und WMP10 Update ermöglichen auch die Unterstützung
abonnementbasierter Onlinemusikdienste.
Nach der Installation dieser Firmware wird der Zen Micro nur von Windows XP erkannt.
Sichern Sie alle auf dem Zen Micro gespeicherten Audio- und Datendateien, da bei der
Installation der neuen Firmware alle Daten verloren gehen. Übertragen Sie nach der
Installation von PlaysForSure und WMP10 Update mithilfe von WMP 10 alle Audio- und/
oder Datendateien wieder zurück auf Ihren Player.
Sie können weiterhin Creative MediaSource und Zen Media Explorer verwenden, um die
Dateien auf Ihrem Player und Computer zu verwalten. Allerdings kann es sein, dass für die
vollständige Unterstützung der WMP10-Funktionalität im Falle einiger, bei
Onlinemusikdiensten erworbener Dateien Windows Media Player 10 vorausgesetzt wird.
Für künftige Versionen von Creative MediaSource und Zen Media Explorer ist bereits die
Unterstützung aller WMP10-Funktionen geplant.
