Spodnja tabela vam bo pomagala razvrstiti vaše telesne maščobe. Prosimo, upoštevajte, da to
merjenje ni v skladu z medicinskimi postopki merjenja in da lahko ta vrednost odstopa od dejans-
ke vrednosti. Za natančno merjenje vaših telesnih maščob se obrnite na svojega zdravnika.

5.2.8.2. Rezultat merjenja BMI (Body-Mass-Index)
Razlaga pomena:
BMI je merilo za ocenjevanje vrednosti telesne teže.
Izračun (Harris-Benedictova formula):
BMI = telesna teža : (telesna teža v m)2.
Spodnja tabela vam bo pomagala razvrstiti vašo vrednost BMI.
Prosimo upoštevajte, da to merjenje ni v skladu z medicinskimi postopki merjenja.
STAROSTNA SKUPINA NORMALEN BMI shujšan = < 15 BMI
19 – 24 let 19 – 24 prenizka teža = < 17,5 BMI
25 – 34 let 20 – 25 mejno območje = < 19 BMI
35 – 44 let 21 – 26 normalno = 19 – 24 BMI
45 – 54 let 22 – 27 prekomerna teža = 25 – 29 BMI
55 – 64 let 23 – 28 debelost = 30 – 39 BMI
> 64 let 24 – 29 zdravju nevarna debelost = 40 + BMI
5.2.8.3. Rezultat merjenja BMR
(Basal-Metabolic-Rate)
Razlaga pomena:
BMR je količina energije, ki jo telo potrebuje za normalno delovanje, meri pa se med mirovanjem, v
ležečem položaju pri 20 stopinjah C, 12 ur po zaužitju hrane.
Pomnožite rezultat merjenja BMR na računalniku z vašo stopnjo aktivnosti.
Rezultat je energetski faktor vašega telesa v kJ (kilojouli).
STOPNJA AKTIVNOSTI FAKTOR AKTIVNOSTI
zelo lahka BMR x 1,2 (npr. malo ali nič vadbe, sedeča dejavnost)
normalna aktivnost BMR x 1,3
zmerna aktivnost BMR x 1,4 (npr. lahka vadba/šport, 3–4 ure/teden)
aktiven BMR x 1,6 (npr. veliko vadbe/športa, 4–5 ure/teden)
zelo aktiven BMR x 1,9 (težka vadba/šport in  zično delo)
