OPERATION
AND USE
NOTE: It is normal for the heater to emit some odor when it is turned on for the first
time or after having not been used for a long period of time. This will disappear when
the heater has been on a short while.
1. Place the product on a flat, steady, stable, heat-resistant surface.
2. Plug the Power Cord into a standard 120 VAC electrical outlet.
3. Turn the Heat Select Knob to either the low heat or the high heat position.
4. Allow the heater to warm up until the room temperature reaches your desired
comfort level.
5. The Indicator Light shows that the heater is plugged into a power source.
CAUTION:
DO NOT touch grill cover while hot!
SAFETY & OVERHEAT PROTECTION SYSTEMS
This unit has protection safeguards that shut the unit off when components become
excessively hot or if the unit tips over.
1. If heater becomes overheated, it will shut down automatically and the heater will
turn off.
NOTE: The red indicator light will go off and you may smell a slight odor due to
the coils overheating. This is normal and the odor will subside.
2. Remove any nearby objects that may be causing overheat conditions. Keep at
least three feet of space on all sides of the unit to allow adequate air circulation.
3. Use the unit in a well-ventilated area.
4. Place the unit on a flat, smooth, stable surface.
5. The unit will restart automatically when it has cooled sufficiently.
NOTE: The cool-down period could take 30-45 minutes. When heater is cooled
the red Power Light will come back on and the heater will begin to heat.
