- Check at least every month and every time a change is made to the unit if the Cosicube has no gas
leaks .
- Keep the area around the Cosicube clear of combustible liquids, materials and vapors . Never throw
anything in the heat of the Cosicube.
- Never use a fuel other than propane gas.
Turning on the Cosicube
- Make sure the Cosicube is stable and in solid state.
- Remove the protective cover.
- Press the control button fully until you hear a slight ticking sound (this is the piezo ignition). If you
hear nothing when pressing the ignition button, then you probably need to replace the battery. Hold
the control knob pushed in when you open the gas supply. Turn the control knob to the right for gas
supply. The burner should now ignite within 15 seconds . If the burner gives a completely flame, you
hold the control knob for 15 seconds withheld . The flame continues to burn. Extinguishes the flame,
try this again and hold the button longer retained .
Switching off the cosicube
- Turn the control knob so that the flame goes out. If the flame is out you turn off the gas valve on the
gas bottle. You can use the round opening in the Cosicube. Put your hand trough it to turn off the gas.
- Let the lava rocks and ceramic logs cool down completely and place the cover on the Cosicube.
Cleaning the Cosi Cube
- Regularly check if all gas components still be intact, clean and whether they are properly tightened.
The burner has a gauze against the creep of pests and other particles. Clean this gauze before use
thoroughly. If this patch is full , there may be less oxygen to the flame, this causes a change in the
flames and eventually damage the Cosicube.

Which gas bottle can be used in which Cosicube?
In the schedule below you can find the Cosicube collection, you can choose the Cosicube you have purchased.
In the same row as your Cosicube you can find the gas bottles you can use. The cosicube has been extensively
tested for propane gas cylinders. Therefore, always use one of the required gas cylinders. Using another bottle
can give another fire behavior, or in the worst cases major damage to persons, animals or materials. If you are
unsure about a particular cylinder which one to use? Please always contact the helpdesk of Cosi or an
authorized gas specialist.
