Bedienungs- und Montageanleitung für Cosiconcrete/ Operating and assembly instructions built in burners / manuel de montage et mode démploi
3. Replacing the cylinder
Is the gas bottle empty and you need to replace it? Make sure the model, ceramic logs and lava rocks are
completely cooled down! Use the definition of point 2 “placing the gas bottle” and remove the old bottle. You
can fill up the old bottle at the local gas supplier.
4. Replacing the hose and pressure regulator
Replace your propane gas hose every four years . This is a national advice. Pressure regulators can go for five
years. Always check the unit after replacing the pressure regulator and gas hose for gas leaks .
How to check your Cosiconcrete on gas leaks:
- Open the gas bottle but do not turn on the Cosiconcrete!
- Make a spray of half water and half of detergent, and spray this liquid on each connection and the hose.
If there is a gas leak in the connection or the hose there will be air bubbles arise.
- If bubbles are visible, immediately shut off the gas. Buy a new hose or regulator.
- If the problem persist, please contact a qualified gas engineer.
Replace the hose or pressure regulator so that they are mounted on the exact same way. In the Netherlands, a
30 mbar pressure regulator should be placed. The hose must not be longer that 2.5 meters.
When in doubt, always consult a qualified gas engineer .
5. Replacing the battery for the piezo ignitior
The Cosiconcrete features a piezo ignition that runs on one
AA battery . It may happen that after repeated use , the
battery runs out . The battery can be replaced as follows :
- Make sure the model, ceramic logs and lava rocks are
completely cooled down.
- Make sure the Cosiconcrete is no longer connected to the
gas cylinder.
- Behind the control panel, there is the ignitor, the battery is
in the black capsule.
- You can now rotate the black ignition and open the battery
as instructed in the sites of inflammation
- The old battery should be returned to a collection point .
6. Moving the unit
It is advisable to minimize the move with Cosiconcrete. With every move you risk to damage the Cosiconcrete.
If you still want to move the unit , make sure that the Cosiconcrete is locked off from the gas bottle. The new
location for Cosiconcrete needs to be clean, flat and hardened again.
7. Installing the cover
At each Cosiconcrete is a protective cover supplied. The protective cover protects your Cosiconcrete against
weather influences. It is always advised to use the sleeve. Place the cover only when the Cosiconcrete has
completely cooled down. If you place the cover immediately after using the cover will damage and even catch
fire .
