Briefly push the button “SET”; the barometric pressure flashes.
Select the desired unit with the button “+” or “MIN/MAX”.
“hPa” = Hectopascal
“inHg” = inch mercury column
Briefly push the button “SET”; the barometric pressure flashes.
Set the relative barometric pressure with the button “+” of “MIN/MAX”.
If you have selected absolute barometric pressure display as described in chapter 12.
b), the weather station will automatically switch to relative barometric pressure while
this setting is made (the display shows the symbol “rel” above the barometric
pressure).
You can get the current barometric pressure at your place of residence, e.g. online. Usually,
it is sufficient to set the barometric pressure for the next larger city, since there are not usually
any larger deviations within an area of 50 km.
Briefly push the button “SET”; the step width for the weather forecast flashes on the display
(default “2 hPa”).
In areas with larger barometric pressure fluctuations, a higher value can be set. Usually,
however, you do not need to change the default.
Set the step width with the button “+” or “MIN/MAX” (2.....4 hPa).
For example, if you set 4 hPa, the barometric pressure must increase or drop by 4 hPa
for the weather station to recognise this as a weather change and to update the
graphical symbols for the weather forecast.
Briefly push the button “SET”; the step width for the weather icon “Storm” flashes on the
display (default “4 hPa”).
If the barometric pressure drops by more than 4 hPa within 3 hours, the weather station
displays the weather icon “Storm”. In areas with larger barometric pressure fluctuations, a
higher value can be set.
Set the step width with the button “+” or “MIN/MAX” (3....9 hPa).
Briefly push the button “SET” to terminate setting mode; the weather station returns to the
regular display.
