Schakel het contact in (boordspanning) en zet de versnelling in de achteruit. De monitor geeft naast de
sensorgegevsn ook het beeld achteraan.
Vraag aan iemand anders om de "hindernis" achter uw auto te simuleren.
De hindernispersoon komt dan vanaf ongeveer 2 meter afstand steeds dichterbij de achterkant van de
auto.
De kortste afstand tussen de beide zijden van het voertuig en een hindernis wordt bovenaan het beeld
in meters weergegeven. De balkindicatie geeft de richting en de afstand van de 4 sensoren tot een hin-
dernis. Des te meer balken er worden getoond, des te dichterbij is de hindernis.
De afstand tot een hindernis wordt ook akoestisch met toenemende intensiteit van de signaaltoon weer-
gegeven (grote afstand = langzame pieptoon; geringe afstand = snelle pieptoon).
De volgende waarschuwingsbereiken moeten in acht genomen worden.
Veilige afstand van 2,0 - 1,6 m (geen toon, afstandsweergave).
Veilige afstand van 1,5 - 0,9 m (langzame waarschuwingstoon, afstandsweergave).
Waarschuwingsafstand van 0,8 - 0,5 m (versnelde waarschuwingstoon, afstandsweergave).
Gevaarlijke afstand van 0,4 m - 0 m (snelle waarschuwingstoon, monitorweergave "STOP" <0,4 m).
In bepaalde situaties werkt het ultrasone meetprincipe niet geheel betrouwbaar. Dit is bijvoorbeeld het
geval bij lichte hellingen, bij afgeronde voorwerpen of bij zachte voorwerpen en bij regen, die de ultraso-
ne golven mogelijk absorberen.
Reiniging
Reinig de buitensensoren regelmatig om storingen te voorkomen. Gebruik hiervoor een zachte, schone,
enigszins bevochtigde doek.
U kunt de lens van de camera ook met een zachte, schone, enigszins bevochtigde doek schoonmaken.
De achteruitkijkspiegel kunt u het beste reinigen met een zachte, schone, enigszins vochtige en pluis-
vrije doek zonder schurende en chemische reinigingsmiddelen. Druk nooit op het display, het zou
beschadigd kunnen raken.
