10.On your computer, double click ‘My Computer’; double click ‘Removable Disk’, then double click ‘DCIM’.
11. Then double click the folder that contains the desired images to view.
12.To view an image, double click on the file.
FOR MACINTOSH USERS
1. Power the camera on.
2. Connect the camera to the computer.
After a few moments, the external hard drive will appear on the desktop.
3. Double-click the "untitled" removable drive that is on your desktop.
4. Double-click DCIM.
5. Then double click the folder that contains the desired images to view.
The stored pictures (JPG) and video clips (AVI) stored in the memory card will be displayed.
6. Drag and drop the image you want to save in the computer.
To select all files, click Edit > Select all.
To terminate the USB connection, the procedures differ between the different operating systems.
For Windows 98/98SE/ME/XP users, press [ON/OFF] power button on the camera, ensuring that the green
operation lamp is no longer lit, then disconnect the USB cable from the camera and computer.
For Windows 2000 users, click the ‘card services’ icon (usually located next to the clock) to disable the
connection; ‘Stop DigitalCAM’ appears, click on it and the dialog box ‘Safe To Remove Hardware’ appears,
then click ‘OK’. Now the USB cable can be safely unplugged from the camera and the computer.
For Macintosh users, drag the "untitled" removable drive icon on the desktop to the Trash. Unplug the Mini-
USB cable from the camera.
INSTALLING ROXIO PHOTOSUITE 5.0 SE
Roxio PhotoSuite 5.0 SE is a photo editing application that is included for free in the software installation CD-
ROM. To use this software, your computer should be running either Windows 98/98SE/Me/2000/XP.
1. Start up your computer, and insert the software installation CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
2. The model selection screen appears, If it does not appear, double-click My Computer and find the CD-ROM
drive, then double-click the menu.
3. Click Roxio PhotoSuite 5.0 SE on the model selection
screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
