MAINTENANCE WARNINGS
• NEVER submerge the appliance main unit into water.
• Do not use any solvents or other aggressive substances to clean the humidifier.
• Clean the inside of the appliance with asoft cloth.
• Clean the converter with asoft brush only. Clean it once aweek.
• Use abrush with fine bristles.
• If water remains in the reservoir, replace it at least once aweek.
REPLACING THE FILTER PATRON (OPTIONAL)
Change the filter patron once every 6 months according to the following instructions:
• Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before handling with the water tank. Do not touch the water in the
base of the appliance during operation.
• Turn the water tank upside down and unscrew the lid. The filter patron is screwed into the inner part of the lid (Fig.
2).
• Unscrew the old filter patron from the lid.
• Screw the new filter patron into the lid and screw it back into the water tank.
Note: The filter patron is made of an ion-exchange resin.
STORAGE
• Clean and dry the humidifier according to instructions described above.
• It is recommended to store the appliance in its original packaging.
• Do not expose it to high temperatures.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
If your humidifier does not work properly, check the following possible causes:
Problem Cause Solution
The humidifier does not
operate.
The power cord is not plugged in. Connect the alliance to the mains.
The indicator is on, but no steam
is coming out of the appliance.
There is no water in the tank. Fill the tank with water.
Steam smells unpleasantly. The appliance is new. Open the water tank and place it in
adark and cool place for 12 hours.
Water is too dirty or has been in the
tank for too long.
Clean the tank and fill with fresh
water.
The indicator is on, but the
appliance does not work.
There is too much water in the drain. Pour alittle water out of the drain.
The humidifier produces too
little steam.
The converter is clogged. Clean the converter with asoft
brush.
Water is too dirty or has been in the
tank for too long.
Clean the tank and fill with fresh
water.
The appliance generates
unusual noise.
The noise in the tank is caused by alow
water content.
Fill the tank with water.
The appliance does not stand on aflat
surface.
Place the appliance to astable flat
surface.
The water tank lid cannot be
unscrewed.
The lid has been tightened too much. Apply liquid soap to the seal of the
lid.
