Dove non si devono applicare gli elettrodi

• A livello della testa.

• In modo controlaterale: non utilizzare i due poli di uno stesso canale su entrambi i lati

della linea mediana del corpo.

• A contatto o in prossimità di lesioni cutanee di qualsiasi natura (piaghe, infiammazioni,

ustioni, irritazioni, eczemi, ecc.).

Precauzioni per l'uso degli elettrodi

• Utilizzare esclusivamente gli elettrodi forniti da Compex. Altri elettrodi possono

presentare caratteristiche elettriche inadatte allo stimolatore Compex.

• Spegnere l’apparecchio prima di rimuovere o spostare gli elettrodi nel corso di una

seduta.

• Non immergere gli elettrodi forniti nell’acqua.

• Non applicare sugli elettrodi un solvente di qualsiasi tipo.

• Prima di applicare gli elettrodi, si consiglia di lavare, sgrassare e asciugare la pelle.

• Fare aderire perfettamente tutta la superficie degli elettrodi alla pelle.

• Per ragioni igieniche molto importanti, ogni utente deve avere il proprio set di

elettrodi. Non impiegare gli stessi elettrodi su persone diverse.

• Non utilizzare un set di elettrodi adesivi per più di quindici sedute, in quanto la qualità

del contatto tra l’elettrodo e la pelle, fattore importante ai fini del comfort e

dell’efficacia della stimolazione, si altera progressivamente.

• In alcune persone con pelle molto sensibile, si può osservare un arrossamento della

zona sotto gli elettrodi, dopo una seduta di stimolazione. Questo arrossamento è del

tutto normale e scompare dopo 10-20 minuti. Si eviterà, tuttavia, di riprendere una

seduta di stimolazione, applicando gli elettrodi nella stessa posizione, fintanto che

l’arrossamento non è scomparso.
