GEGENANZEIGEN
In jedem Fall wird empfohlen
• Verwenden Sie die Programme des Compex-Stimulators nicht, wenn Sie unter
Empfindlichkeitsstörungen leiden.
• Benutzen Sie den Compex nie längere Zeit ohne ärztlichen Rat.
• Falls Sie auch nur den geringsten Zweifel haben, fragen Sie Ihren Arzt.
• Lesen Sie dieses Handbuch und insbesondere die Kapitel 6 und 7 über die
Wirkungen und Indikationen der einzelnen Stimulationsprogramme aufmerksam
durch.
SICHERHEITSMASSNAHMEN
Was Sie mit dem Compex nicht tun dürfen
• Der Compex darf nicht an Orten mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit eingesetzt werden (Sauna,
Hydrotherapie usw.).
• Setzen Sie den Compex nicht in sauerstoffangereicherter Atmosphäre ein.
• Eine erste Stimulationssitzung darf nicht an einer stehenden Person durchgeführt
werden. Während der ersten fünf Minuten der Anwendung ist die Stimulation immer
im Sitzen oder Liegen durchzuführen. In seltenen Fällen können besonders sensibel
veranlagte Personen eine vagale Reaktion zeigen. Diese ist psychischen Ursprungs
und hängt mit Angst vor der Stimulation zusammen sowie der ungewohnten
Empfindung, seinen eigenen Muskel ohne willentliche Kontrolle kontrahieren zu
sehen. Diese vagale Reaktion äußert sich in einem Schwächegefühl mit Tendenz zur
Ohnmacht (Lipothymie), einer Verlangsamung der Herzfrequenz und einer Abnahme
des arteriellen Blutdrucks. In einem solchen Fall genügt es, die Stimulation zu
beenden und sich so lange mit hochgelagerten Beinen hinzulegen, bis das
Schwächegefühl verschwunden ist (5 - 10 Minuten).
• Die während einer Stimulationssitzung durch die Muskelkontraktion bewirkte
Bewegung darf nicht zugelassen werden. Stimulationen sind stets isometrisch
durchzuführen, d.h. die Extremitäten, deren Muskeln stimuliert werden, müssen so
fixiert sein, dass sie sich während einer Kontraktion nicht bewegen.
• Verwenden Sie den Compex nicht, wenn bei Ihnen gleichzeitig ein chirurgisches
Hochfrequenzinstrument im Einsatz ist, da es zu Verbrennungen unter den Elektroden
und einer Beschädigung des Stimulators kommen kann.
