pancakes which originally come from France
where they are considered to be a specialty. The
Cloer Crêpes Maker guarantees for a successful
outcome of these French titbits in always new
variations, whether on the occasion of a roman-
tic dinner for two, pleasant get-togethers with
friends, family celebrations, birthday parties or
brunch. With sweet or spicy filling, these small
round slices can again and again be converted
into coveted and irresistible treats. If rolled up or
folded, hot or cold, they are always a real treat.

Safety instructions
Use the Crêpes Maker with the delivered contact
socket only.
The contact socket may be operated only in dry
condition.
Please absolutely avoid water being poured on
the contact socket.
Should water get on the contact socket, pro-
ceed as follows:
Unplug power plug.
Dry contact socket by means of a dry,
absorbent kitchen towel.
Dry surface of the contact socket.
Plug power plug again.
Please note: The baking surface
of the appliance is getting hot in
operation. Avoid touching the
baking surface. There is the
danger of burns!
This Cloer Crêpes Maker has a non-stick coating.
Therefore, greasing is usually not required.
Start-up and operating instructions
Put the contact socket on an even, dry base.
Put the Crêpes Maker on the contact socket in
any position.
Put plug in power socket.
Switch on the Crêpes Maker at the power
button.
Attention: Appliance is getting hot now!
The red control lamp lights ups and indicates
that the Crêpes Maker is heated up.
After some minutes the control lamp goes out.
Now the Crêpes Maker is hot and you can start
baking.
Fill the crêpe dough in the dough tray.
Advice: You can find recipes for the crêpe
dough below. The dough should be prepared at
least one hour before baking.
Remove Crêpes Maker from contact socket.
Turn Crêpes Maker so that the baking surface
shows downwards.
Hold the baking surface of the Crêpes Maker into
the tray filled with dough for three seconds. Do
not dive the appliance too deep in the dough.
Slightly swing the Crêpes Maker thereby back
and forth so that the overall baking surface is
covered by dough.
Advice: See to it that the Crêpes Maker is not
held in the dough for more than three seconds.
If the Crêpes Maker is held too long in the
tray, the crêpe does not stick at the baking
surface.
Now place the appliance back on the contact
socket.
The red control lamp lights up and indicates
that the crêpe is baked.
The crêpe is ready if the control lamp goes out
again or when the crêpe has reached the reque-
sted browning degree and no steam is visible
any more.
Remove the Crêpes Maker from contact socket
again.
Now turn the Crêpes Maker over a plate so that
the crêpe can come off.
Should it stick, loose the crêpe carefully at a
corner by means of a plastics or wooden fork.
It is not required to brown the other side.
You can directly continue and bake the next
crêpe as described above.
Advice: Don’t be put off should you face any
difficulties with your very first crêpes. Dealing
with the Crêpes Maker requires some practice.
Cleaning
Unplug power plug before cleaning.
Clean the warm appliance by means of a paper
tissue.
Finally clean by means of a humid cloth, but
never under running water.
Remove dough rests by means of a soft brush.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents.
Do not bring the feed cable nor the plug in
contact with water or other liquids.
