4. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before using your temperature control cellar
Remove the inner and outer packaging.
Clean the inside using a soft cloth and lukewarm water.
Using your temperature control cellar:
The appliance must be positioned in a room with an ambient temperature within a range of 20 to 25°C.
If the ambient temperature is higher or lower, the performance of your appliance may be affected and it may not
be possible to obtain temperatures between 14 and 18 degrees.
Installing your temperature control cellar
This appliance is designed for free-standing installation.
Position it in a place with sufficient strength to support its weight when loaded. To ensure that it is level,
adjust the height of the feet underneath.
To get the best from your appliance with the lowest energy consumption, do not place the appliance
close to a heat source (heater, cooker, etc.), do not expose it to direct sunlight, and do not place it in a
room which is too cold.
Connect the temperature control cellar to a single socket, leaving a 10 cm gap between the back of the
appliance and the wall. Be careful to support it, so that it is perfectly level. (Use of a spirit level is
recommended). This will prevent any movement due to instability, causing noise and vibration, and will
ensure that the door seals perfectly.
Selecting the temperature
You can choose the desired temperature in the compartment, using the “ / ”buttons. The temperature
selected increases/decreases by 1°C with each button press.
The temperature can be set within a range of 14 to 18°C.
In the event of a power cut, all previously selected temperatures settings will be deleted and each
compartment will re-initialise to the factory-preset temperature of 12°C.
Model CV71 only:
To switch the temperature display between °F and °C, press the °C/°F button.
The interior light can be activated and deactivated by pressing the light button (9)
