3. INSERTING THE BATTERIES
This wine preserver needs two batteries type AAA LR03 (not supplied). To insert them, please follow these
instructions:
1. Open the battery compartment by twisting the tip of the housing counter clockwise and lifting the cover
off.
2. Insert 2 batteries according to the + / - indications on the main unit.
3. Close the battery compartment by placing the cap on left of the main unit and twisting clockwise until
markers are aligned and top is secure.
CAUTION: when inserting the batteries, display on the Autovac2 will turn on briefly and then will
turn off. Don’t worry, the device is functional, it simply saves the batteries. To check the proper
functioning of the product, you just have to push it on the neck of your open bottle. Then, the
Autovac2 will activate automatically and start pumping the air inside the bottle. If your product
pumps continuously, it means that an air leak exists. Please make sure that your automatic wine
stopper is correctly pushed vertically and allows a perfect contact blocking the air supply into the
bottle.
4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
To vacuum-seal a partially empty bottle of wine:
1. Insert the wine preserver into the mouth of wine bottle, pushing down until it fits firmly. The pumping
process starts automatically.
Note: to ensure a good hermiticity, place the Autovac2 as vertically as possible.
2. The backlight of the LCD screen is on, and displaying the progress of the pumping process through 4
blinking “o”s:
3. After the fourth and final “o” finishes blinking, the sealing process finishes, LCD displays the
temperature inside the bottle. If the air pressure inside the bottle cannot reach the expected reading
after 1 minute, the pumping stops and LCD displays error message “Err”.
User should check:
Whether the rubber stopper of the preserver is intact with the mouth of the wine bottle
Whether there is obstacle on the mouth of the wine bottle
