• Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts
at repair are excluded from the warranty. This also applies to
normal wear and tear.
Safety notes
Warning due to misuse
• Do not in any case vacuum up the following:
– liquids or wet substances (e.g. wet carpet shampoo)
– smouldering ashes, cigarette butts, matches etc.
– fl ammable or ignitable materials
– very fi ne dust (e.g. cement dust), ash or toner
– pointy, hard objects such as larger glass shards
Risks of injury
• Risk of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from
children and animals.
• Never touch the mains plug, the cable or device with wet hands.
• Keep the device, cable and plug away from water or other liq-
uids in order to prevent electrical shocks. Never touch those
parts with wet or damp hands.
• Keep animals, hair, jewellery, loose-fi tting clothing, fi ngers and
all other body parts away from the nozzles of the device. They
could be caught in the vacuum cleaner. If the vacuum cleaner
attaches itself to the fl oor, turn it off immediately.
• Be very careful that you don't fall when vacuuming stairs.
• Wear secure footwear when using the vacuum cleaner.
• Only use and store the device out of the reach of children. Im-
proper use may result in injury and electrical shock. The charger
may also not be accessible for children.
Fire hazard
• Do not use the device if easily fl ammable gases are present in
the air.
• Do not cover the device during operation to prevent a risk of fi re.
