Cleaning and Storage
CAUTION!
■ Remove the mains plug from the plug socket before doing any cleaning.
■ Danger of scalding! Always allow the device to cool down completely before you
remove the fl oor cloth, clean the device or store it away.
■ Empty the water reservoir completely before you store away the device.
■ Never immerse the main unit in water or other liquids! Ensure that the main unit, the
mains cable and the mains plug cannot fall into water or become wet.
■ Never touch the device, mains cable or mains plug with wet hands when they are
connected to the mains power.
■ Do not pour any descaling agents into the water reservoir.
■ Do not use any solvents, aggressive cleaning agents or cleaning pads for cleaning.
They could damage the device.
• Pour away any remaining water from the water reservoir. Then switch on the device
for a short time so that any water residues evaporate. Then allow the device to cool
down again.
• Wash the fl oor cloth in accordance with the instructions on its washing label. Do not
use any fabric softener or bleach!
• If necessary, wipe down the device with a soft, slightly damp cloth and then dry it with
a soft cloth.
• Allow all parts to dry before you store away the device.
• Store the device in a frost-free, dry, clean, cool location that is out of the reach of
children and animals.
