Danger of Electric Shock
Use and store the device only in closed rooms. Do not operate it outdoors, in rooms
with high humidity or on hot surfaces.
Make sure that the mains cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and
does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
Do not use the device with extension cables or if it is still connected to the mains
adapter and a power source.
The mains adapter should only be connected to a plug socket that has been prop-
erly installed. The plug socket must also be readily accessible after connection. The
mains voltage must match the technical data for the mains adapter (see the “Techni-
cal Data” chapter).
Remove the mains adapter from the plug socket in the event of a thunderstorm.
Always pull the mains adapter and never the cable!
Fire hazard
Do not use the device if highly ammable gases are present in the air. Never operate
the device in the vicinity of a gas source.
Do not cover the device during operation in order to prevent it from catching re. Do
not insert anything into the ventilation openings / nozzles of the device and make
sure that these do not become clogged.
Never set up or use the device in the vicinity of highly ammable materials (curtains,
textiles, etc.).
In case of re: Do not use water to extinguish it! Smother the ames using a re
blanket or a suitable re extinguisher.
Avoiding Damage to Material, Property and the Device
Always check the device and accessories for damage before putting them into op-
eration. If the device, the mains adapter, the cable or the dust lter shows visible
signs of damage, the device must not be used.
Switch off the device
if a fault or error occurs while the device is in operation,
if foreign bodies have found their way into the device,
before you connect or remove the mains adapter.
The device should only be used when it is fully and correctly assembled. The col-
lecting container and dust lter must be inserted and must not be damaged!
If the dirt were to get inside the device, this could damage the motor.
Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, wide temperature uctuations,
open re, direct sunlight, and do not expose the motor unit to any moisture condi-
tions.
Do not drop the device or allow it to be knocked violently.
Empty and clean the collecting container after each use. The dust lter must also be
regularly cleaned in order to prevent overloading of the motor.
Only use accessories which are recommended by the manufacturer.
