Putting into operation
1. Assemble the (disassembled) appliance as follows:
Pull the rubber seal carefully over the blades and press it onto the blade
base.
Insert the blade base into the mixer container and fasten it by turning it
clockwise (until it is closed tight).
Warning! Safety switch! The appliance functions only with the mixer vessel
and lid properly assembled. Turn the mixer vessel clockwise until it snaps into
place. The arrow markings now point to each other.
2. Cut the food to be mixed into small pieces.
3. Now put the ingredients into the mixer vessel and put on the lid by means of
the locking switch in the handle. Make sure that the tip on the lid clips under
the locking slide.
4. Ensure that the function switch is in the „0“ position.
5. Connect the mains lead to a properly installed 230 V, 50 Hz safety power
socket.
6. Switch the device on (Level 1 or 2) or use pulse operation (P).
For constant mixing (continuous mode):
During operation on levels 1 to 2 the switch locks into the respective
position.
Level 1 = low rpm
Level 2 = high rpm
Shift the selector to „0“ to switch off the appliance.
For pulse mode (mixing at brief intervals):
shift the switch to „0“ position. The switch snaps into place. The appliance
is off now. Turn the switch now to position „P“. The switch must be kept in
this position for the desired interval. When the switch is released, it returns
automatically to „0“ position.
In order to insert more food to be mixed the small lid may be removed. Please
switch off the machine before doing so.
7. In order to remove the mixer jug turn it counterclockwise.
Cleaning
Fill half of the jug with water and press the push button for approximately
10 seconds. Then pour out the liquid.
Remove the mains plug from the socket.
