Attaching Accessories
Attaching the Mixing Rod
Place the motor housing (2) on the mixing rod (3) (see
illustration A).
Tighten the motor housing in a clockwise direction by turning
it as far as it will go. Check that it is tight.
Remove the mixing rod
Remove the mixing rod from the motor housing by turning it
briefl y in an anticlockwise direction.
Whisk
If you would like to use the whisk (5), replace the mixing rod
by the adapter (4). Lock the whisk into place by applying
moderate pressure to the driveshaft of the adapter (see
Illustration B).
Place the motor housing (2) on the adapter (4).
Tighten the motor housing in a clockwise direction by turning
it as far as it will go. Check that it is tight.
Dicer
Place the blade (7) (sharp edges facing downwards) on the
metal axle in the container.
Place the lid (6) level on the container and tighten it.
Place the motor housing in position and lock it into place by
turning in a clockwise direction.

Level I: This provides the slowest speed and cannot be
regulated.
Level II: This provides the maximum speed and cannot
be regulated.

Using the Mixing Rod and Whisk
1. Make sure that the plug is not inserted! Unwind the mains
lead completely.
2. Select an accessory. Please note the section „Attaching
Accessories“. Lock the mixing rod into place by turning
once.
3. Cut the food to be mixed beforehand into small pieces.
4. If you would like to use the whisk (5), replace the mixing rod
by the adapter (4). Lock the whisk into place by applying
moderate pressure to the driveshaft of the adapter.
5. Fill the items to be mixed into a high-walled vessel. Insert
the mixing rod or whisk completely.
CAUTION:
Do not overfi ll the container, as otherwise the food will not
be reduced in size.
WARNING:
If you would like to use the mixing rod for puréeing soups
and sauces in the saucepan, you should only use it for a
few seconds. Pay attention to any hot splashes that may
be emitted. Always immerse the mixing rod or whisk fully.
6. Hold the device in such a way that you are able to operate
the two-level control switch (1) with your fi ngers.
7. Only connect the machine to a properly installed safety
socket, 230 V/50 Hz.
8. Press one of the buttons of the two-level control switch.
Move the mixing rod or whisk up and down.
9. You can achieve pulse operation by pressing the button at
intervals and then releasing it.
10. The device switches itself off when the button is released.
11. Always wait for the blade on the mixing rod or whisk to stop!
12. Pull out the plug from the socket after use. Clean and put
the device away as described in „Cleaning and Mainte-
nance“.
Using the Multi-chopper
1. Make sure that the appliance’s plug is not inserted in the
socket!
2. Release the mixing rod (3) by turning it and pulling it out of
the motor housing (2).
3. Place the multiple chopping machine on a fl at, level surface
and then remove the lid (6). Place the blade (with the cutting
edges facing downwards) carefully on the metal axle in the
container.
4. Cut the food to be mixed beforehand into small pieces. Fill
the transparent beaker (8). Do not fi ll the beaker to the rim,
but only ¾ of the beaker capacity. Please note the following
table.
