Overview of the Components

Before Use
Take out all the parts carefully out of the packing. Save
the packing and the inner packing material for the whole
duration of the warranty.
Clean the device before using it for the fi rst time as descri-
bed in „Cleaning and Maintenance“.
Wall Mounting
The mixing rod (4) can also be attached to the wall using the
attachment kit supplied (2).
In order to do this, measure the distance between the two
recesses on the back and drill two holes which are this
distance apart. Make sure before you start that you will not
damage any electrical wires hidden in the walls!
Hang up the parts in the holder as shown in illustration
.
Attaching Accessories
Attaching the Mixing Rod or Electric Knife
Place the motor housing in position so that the arrow is
pointing to the symbol on the mixing rod or electric knife
(3a).
Turn the attachments (mixing rod, electric knife) so that the
arrow on the motor housing is pointing to the symbol .
Remove the mixing rod
Remove the mixing rod from the motor housing by turning it
briefl y in an anticlockwise direction.
Whisk
If you would like to use the whisk (6), replace the mixing rod
by the attachment.
Electric knife
Mount the electric knife on the motor housing.
Assemble the blades (9) as shown in the illustration (Fig.
).
Insert the ends of the knives into the retainer on the motor
device. Use your thumb and index fi nger to press the two
black handling surfaces together (Fig.
).
Press the blades in the direction of the motor device until
the ends are felt to lock in place. Check that they are fi rmly
attached.

Using the Mixing Rod and Whisk
1. Make sure that the plug is not inserted! Unwind the mains
lead completely.
2. Select an accessory. Please note the section „Attaching
Accessories“.
3. Cut the food to be mixed beforehand into small pieces.
4. Fill the food to be mixed into the mixing bowl ((5) max. 0.5
litres). Insert the mixing rod or whisk completely.
CAUTION:
Do not overfi ll the container, as otherwise the food will not
be reduced in size.
WARNING:
Do not pour any liquids into the mixing vessel that are
hotter than 60°C! Danger of burns!
If you would like to use the mixing rod for puréeing soups
and sauces in the saucepan, you should only use it for a
few seconds. Pay attention to any hot splashes that may
be emitted. Always immerse the mixing rod or whisk fully.
5. Hold the device in such a way that you can press the
ON/OFF pushbutton (1) with your fi ngers.
6. Only connect the machine to a properly installed safety
socket, 230 V/50 Hz.
7. Press the ON/OFF pushbutton (1). Move the mixing rod or
whisk up and down.
8. You can achieve pulse operation by pressing the button at
intervals and then releasing it.
9. The device switches itself off if you release the ON/OFF
pushbutton.
10. Wait for the knife or whisk to stop moving before removing
the contents of the container!
11. Pull out the plug from the socket after use. Clean and put
the device away as described in „Cleaning and Mainte-
nance“.
