Electrical Connection
Before inserting the plug into the socket. Make sure that the
mains voltage to be used matches that of the device. You
can fi nd this information on the nameplate.
Connect the device to a duly installed 230 V/50 Hz protec-
tive contact socket.
Use
Turn the device on with the lower toggle switch on the handle.
Select an air stream level on the handle (
switch):
Position 0: off
Position 1: gentle stream of air
Position 2: strong stream of air
Setting the Temperature Level (
switch):
Position 1: low temperature
Position 2: medium temperature for gentle
drying and shaping.
Position 3: high temperature for rapid drying.
COOL SHOT (Cold Air)
With this switch you can stop the
heating process.
Hold the button down in this position according to the desired
interval length. When the button is released it returned automati-
cally to the initial position.
Switch-off
After use, turn the lower switch (
) to be “0” position and
remove the mains plug.
Storage
Store the hairdryer in the mounted wall holder.
You can also hang the device up on the suspension eye on
the handle.
Mains Cable
The mains cable should only be wound up loosely.
Never tie the cable tightly round the device, as over time this
may result in the cable breaking.
Check the mains cable regularly for damage.
Cleaning and care
WARNING:
Before cleaning remove the mains lead from the socket.
Under no circumstances should you immerse the device
in water for cleaning purposes. Otherwise this might result
in an electric shock or fi re.
CAUTION:
Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth without additives.
Air Intake Grill
Please clean the grill on the air intake side of the hairdryer
regularly in order to avoid excessive temperatures as a result of
heat accumulation.
Press on the mark above the air suction grille with your
thumb in order to fold it open.
Remove any dirt that is present.
If necessary, a fi ne brush can be used.
Close the grille by locking it into place.

The sound pressure level in the ear of an operator (LpA) was
measured according to DIN EN ISO 3744.
