on the operating instructions.
The appliance is designed exclusively for private use
and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fi t
for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors (except if it is
designed to be used outdoors). Keep it away from sources
of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid)
and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands.
If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately. Do
not put it in water.
When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance
and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull on the
plug, not the cable) if the appliance is not being used and
remove the attached accessories.
• Do not operate the machine without supervision. If you
should leave the workplace, always switch the machine off
or remove the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not
the lead).
Check the appliance and the cable for damage on a regular
basis. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.
Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always
contact an authorized technician. To avoid the exposure
to danger, always have a faulty cable be replaced only by
the manufacturer, by our customer service or by a qualifi ed

Use only original spare parts.
Pay careful attention to the following “Special Safety Instruc-
tions“.
Children
In order to ensure your children‘s safety, please keep all
packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their
reach.
Caution! Do not allow small children to play with the foil as
there is a danger of suffocation!
To protect children from the dangers posed by electrical
appliances, make sure that the cable is hanging low and that
children do not have access to the appliance.
Special safety instructions for this device
Keep the device away from water and moisture such
as, for example, bath tubs, shower areas or even
persons taking a bath! Such situations constitute a
Danger of life! through electric shock.
Attention: The nozzles become hot during operation.
If the hair dryer is used in the bathroom, remove the mains
plug after use as water represents a hazard. This also
applies when the hair dryer is switched off.
As additional protection we recommend the installation of a
fault current protection device (RCD) with a rated current of
not more than 30 mA in the wiring system of the bathroom.
Please contact an authorised electrician for advice.
Commissioning
1. Fully unwind the mains cable.
2. Fit on a nozzle. You can dry single hair locks by concen-
trating the fl ow of hot air with the hairdressing nozzle. The
diffuser is the ideal solution to dry curly hair without losing
volume.
3. Only connect the machine to a properly installed safety
socket, 230 V/50 Hz.
4. Setting the Temperature Level (left switch):
Position •: cold air
Position • •: medium temperature for gentle drying
and shaping
Position • • •: high temperature for rapid drying
Setting the desired blower strength (right switch):
Position 0: off
Position 1: gentle stream of air
Position 2: strong stream of air
: With this switch it is possible to interrupt
the heating process so that the air
can be mixed according to individual
requirements. Hold the button down in
this position according to the desired
interval length. When the button is
released it returned automatically to the
initial position.
5. Push the right-hand switch to the „0“ position after use and
remove the mains plug. Leave the device to cool before
putting it away! To do so, place the hairdryer on one of the
rubber profi les on the housing or hang it up by the suspensi-
on eye.
Ionisation function – reducing electrically charged hair
The dryer is also equipped with an ioniser, which when switched
on gives off negative ions with the air that is expelled. This
process helps to protect the hair when it is being dried while
simultaneously helping to improve hair structure, increase the
volume of the hair, produce a silky sheen and also reduce the
static charge of the hair. This process is particularly gentle for
stressed hair.
Cleaning and care
Before cleaning remove the mains lead from the socket.
Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth without additives.
Air Intake Grill
Please clean the grill on the air intake side of the hairdryer
regularly in order to avoid excessive temperatures as a
result of heat accumulation.
Remove any dirt that is present. If necessary, a fi ne brush
can be used.
