Please note:

A large variety of burner and compression software is on the
market; there are differences in quality between CDs and
home-burnt CDs.
Furthermore, the music industry does not have xed stan-
dards (copy protection).
For this reason it can happen that in exceptional cases
playback problems for CDs and MP3/WMA CDs occur. This
is not a malfunction of this unit.
Select CD Mode
Repeatedly press
MODE (21) until CDP PLAY is displayed.
Skip Mode
Press
(26) or (27) to skip to the next or previous
track. The track number is displayed.
Fast Forward/Rewind
Press and hold
(26) or (27) to start fast forward
or rewind function.
Pause
Press
(14) to pause playback.
Press
(14) again to resume playback.
Repeat Mode
Press
RPT (16) to repeat the current track. The display shows
S-RPT. Press again to return to normal playback mode.
Intro
Press
SCN (15). The display shows S-SCN. All tracks are
played for 10 seconds in sequence. Press again to return to
normal playback mode.
Random Playback
Press
SHF (18). The display shows S-SHF. All tracks are
played in random order. Press again to return to normal
playback mode.
Additional Functions MP3/WMA CDs
Skip Album
Press
DIR (19) or DIR (20) to skip to the next or previ-
ous album. Playback starts automatically with the rst track of
the selected album.
Search Function
Title Search
Press AS/PS/D-AUD (22).
Turn the multi control knob (1) until the desired track number
is displayed.
Press
BND/LOU/ENT (7) to conrm. The selected track is
played.
NOTE
Search starts automatically after selecting a 3-digit track

number or if no button is pressed for a few seconds.
File and Album Name Search
NOTE
You can enter up to 16 characters.

Press AS/PS/D-AUD (22) twice.
Turn the multi control knob (1) until the desired character is
displayed and press the multi control knob (1) to conrm.
Repeat this step until the desired characters are entered.
Press BND/LOU/ENT (7) to conrm. All tracks starting with
the entered characters are displayed.
Press
(26) or (27) to select the desired track or
album from the search results and press BND/LOU/ENT (7)
to conrm.
Playback starts automatically after selecting a track. (‘ ‘) is
displayed if an album is selected.
Press
(26) or (27) to skip to the tracks in the
selected album.
Press
BND/LOU/ENT (7) to conrm when the desired track is
displayed. Playback starts automatically after selecting a track.
(‘ ‘) is displayed if an album is selected.
Repeat these steps until the desired track is selected and
playback starts.
