ISOFIX anchoring points and the ISOFIX fixing system
The rear individual seats (1) in your vehicle are equipped with ISOFIX regulation anchoring points.
These seat positions are approved in the framework of the new ISOFIX regulations.
These are 3 rings at each seat position :
- Two "lower" rings a and b, situated between the backrest and the cushion of the vehicle seat, approx. 28 cm
apart.
- One "upper" ring c, situated at the rear of the vehicle seat, aft of the backrest. This ring is called Top Tether, as
confirmed by the logo.
ISOFIX child seats have two latches which are easy to attach on the two "lower" rings a and b.
Some ISOFIX child seats have a top strap which you attach on the Top Tether ring c.
To attach the top belt, raise the head restraint of the vehicle seat then secure the hook between the bars. Next
secure the hook on the Top Tether ring c and tension the top strap.
This fixing system is intended for children weighing up to 18 kg.
The ISOFIX child seats approved for installation in your vehicle are indicated in the table on the following page.
(1) The rear benchseat is not equipped with an ISOFIX anchoring point.
