V. Hoe configureer ik het TCP/IP-protocol?

A. Als u het TCP/IP-protocol wilt configureren, moet er een Ethernet Network

Interface Card (NIC) met een TCP/IP-communicatieprotocol op uw systeem

geïnstalleerd zijn. TCP/IP is een communicatieprotocol dat wordt gebruikt om

toegang te krijgen tot internet. Deze sectie bevat instructies voor het configureren

van TCP/IP op uw internetapparaten voor gebruik met uw gateway voor

thuisgebruik in Microsoft Windows- of Macintosh-omgevingen.

Het TCP/IP-protocol in een Microsoft Windows-omgeving is verschillend voor elk

besturingssysteem. Volg de desbetreffende instructies in deze sectie voor uw

besturingssysteem.

TCIP/IP configureren op Windows 2000-systemen

1 Klik op Start, selecteer Instellingen en kies Netwerk- en inbelverbindingen.

2 Dubbelklik op het pictogram LAN-verbinding in het venster Netwerk- en

inbelverbindingen.

3 Klik op Eigenschappen in het venster Status van LAN-verbinding.

4 Klik op Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) in het venster Eigenschappen van LAN-

verbinding en klik vervolgens op Eigenschappen.

5 Schakel zowel Automatisch een IP-adres laten toewijzen als Automatisch een

DNS-serveradres laten toewijzen in het venster Eigenschappen van Internet

Protocol (TCP/IP) in en klik vervolgens op OK.

6 Klik op Ja om de computer opnieuw op te starten als het venster Lokaal netwerk

wordt geopend. De computer wordt opnieuw opgestart. Het TCP/IP-protocol is

nu geconfigureerd op uw pc en uw Ethernet-apparaten zijn gereed voor gebruik.

7 Probeer om toegang te krijgen tot internet. Als u geen toegang kunt krijgen tot

internet, neemt u contact op met uw serviceprovider voor verdere assistentie.

TCIP/IP configureren op Windows XP-systemen

1 Klik op Start en kies een van de volgende opties (afhankelijk van de instelling

van uw menu Start):

 Als u het standaard menu Start van Windows XP gebruikt, selecteert u

Verbinding maken met, kiest u Alle verbindingen weergeven en gaat u

naar stap 2.

 Als u het klassieke menu Start van Windows XP gebruikt, selecteert u

Instellingen, kiest u Netwerkverbindingen, klikt u op LAN-verbinding en

gaat u naar stap 3.
