Das Kabelmodem von Scientific Atlanta unterstützt bei Verwendung eines Ethernet-
Hubs, der separat hinzugekauft werden muss, mehrere Ethernet-Netzwerkgeräte.
Die theoretische maximale Anzahl an unterstützten Ethernet-Netzwerkgeräten
beträgt 63. Unter normalen Umständen sollte die Anzahl der angeschlossenen
Geräte jedoch wesentlich geringer sein.
Wenden Sie sich an Ihren Kabelanbieter, um weitere Informationen dazu zu
erhalten, wie viele Ethernet-Netzwerkgeräte höchstens an Ihr Kabelmodem
angeschlossen werden können, um eine optimale Netzwerkleistung
aufrechtzuerhalten.
Was sind die Verbindungsanforderungen für Ethernet-Netzwerke?
Die praktische Grenze des Netzwerks wird von mehreren Faktoren bestimmt. Ein
Kabelmodem kann zwar mehrere Ethernet-Netzwerkgeräte unterstützen, man sollte
jedoch die Merkmale des gesamten Netzwerks und nicht nur jeden einzelnen
Knoten (Gerät) berücksichtigen.
Der theoretische Abstand zwischen den beiden 10/100BaseT CAT-5 Ethernet-Hubs

zu erhalten.
