leading to a reduction in performances, an
increase in noise and the device being un-
able to run normally. It is therefore recom-
mended to clean and decalcify at least once
a week as follows:

ing any cleaning or maintenance proce-
dures on the device, make sure that the
power cable (5) is unplugged from the
mains socket and that the device and its
components have cooled down completely.

could leak out during the operations de-
scribed below), these must always be per-
formed on suitable surfaces that are not
sensitive to water and dampness.
1. Remove the lid (8) from the water tank (2)
WARNING: when the humidier is run-
ning, water is condensed in the lid (8), and
when this is removed, trickles of conden-
sation could leak out and wet the surfaces
around the device.
2. Remove the water tank (2) by lifting it verti-
cally using the handle provided (15). (Fig. D)
3. Slightly move the steam duct lock (17) (Fig.
E) and remove the duct by carefully lifting
it up, rinse it and remove the limescale res-
idues with a cloth, also using a tool if neces-
sary. Carefully rinse and dry with a soft cloth.
4. Empty out the residues of water in the
heating tank (13) by tilting the technical
base in the direction indicated by the ar-
rows (a) on the same as indicated in gure
F, taking care not to wet the plug and the
power cable (5) or allow the water to enter
the air duct (16).
5. Pour approximately 250 ml of water into the
heating tank (13) and repeat the operation
described in point 4 twice.
6. Remove any residues remaining in the
heating tank with a cloth (13) using a small
tool to remove the limescale in the water
inlet channel (Fig. H), repeat the operations
indicated at point 5. and dry carefully.
7. Unscrew the cap of the water tank (14),
empty the water residues contained in the
water tank (2) then ll it completely with
cold drinkable tap water.
8. Rinse a few times and dry carefully.

parts of water and white wine vinegar into
the water tank (2).
10. Screw the cap back on to the water tank
(14) and shake it for about a minute, put
the steam duct (4) down into the bottom
of the heating tank (13) ensuring that the
ballcock structure (9), is correctly inserted
on to the cylinder present inside the tech-
nical base (6). (Fig. G).
11. Insert the water tank (2) on to the techni-
cal base (6) and let it rest there for at least
4 hours or, better still, overnight if possible.
12. Repeat the operations from points 2 to 8.
13. Put the steam duct (4) down into the
bottom of the heating tank (13) ensuring
that the ballcock structure (9), is correctly
inserted on to the cylinder present inside
the technical base (6).
14. If you wish to use the device again, ll the
tank (2) full with cold drinkable tap water
and screw the cap tightly on to the heat-
ing tank (14), lift the tank using the handle
provided (15) and insert it, keeping it in a
vertical position, on to the technical base
(6), carefully rinse and dry the cap (8) and
place it on the tank.
15. The device is now ready to be used again
16. Instead, if the device is not to be used
again, carefully dry the inside of the tank
(2) with a soft cloth, screw the water tank
cap on (14) leaving it very loose to reduce
the possibility of odours forming therein,
and insert it on to the technical base (6).
17. Carefully rinse and dry the cap (8) and
place it on the tank.
18. Put the device back in a cool, dry, clean
place away from direct sunlight.
