3. For high power, you will move the power switch to the “HIGH” setting

which will give you 50x. At the high power, your views will be greatly

magnified but somewhat darker. The most enjoyable views can be at the

lower powers which have a wider field of view and brighter illumination.

Note: The power switch may have to be adjusted slightly near the

“LOW” and “HIGH” positions to achieve the best focus position.

Illumination

To get the sharpest and best views, the illumination

(lighting) will have to be adjusted.

1. The illuminator is turned on by a switch dial shown

in Figure 4. Turn the switch to the “ON” position.

2. The light from the illuminator can be increased or

decreased by moving the illuminator switch. You

will have to experiment to provide the best lighting

for the best views.
