. CAMBIO DE LAS PILAS
Se muestra un símbolo de pila en la pantalla cuando las pilas están casi agotadas . Se puede
continuar con el tratamiento mientras el estimulador funciona normalmente. Cuando la sensación de la
estimulación es más débil de lo normal o si se apaga el estimulador, hay que cambiar las pilas.
Si el estimulador no se va a utilizar por un tiempo (aproximadamente 3 meses), se deben sacar del
aparato las pilas.
El estimulador funciona con dos pilas AA de 1,5 V no recargables, o con dos pilas AA de 1,2 V recargables
que se cargan con un cargador separado.
La duración de las pilas depende de la amplitud y del número de canales activados cuando se utiliza un
programa. Por ejemplo, si se usa un canal en P1 con una amplitud de 30 mA, las pilas no recargables
duran aproximadamente 11 horas y las recargables duran unas 7 horas.
CAMBIO DE LAS PILAS
1. Apague el estimulador.
2. Localice el compartimento de pilas en la parte trasera del estimulador.
3. Quite la tapa del compartimento de pilas deslizándola hacia abajo 1 cm aproximadamente y levan-
tándola hacia arriba.
4. Saque las pilas.
5. Coloque las pilas nuevas correctamente según las marcas de polaridad (+ y –) en el interior del com-
partimento de pilas; vea la figura.
6. Coloque la tapa del compartimento de pilas.
7. Deseche las pilas gastadas según la normativa local y nacional.
¡ATENCIÓN! Las pilas no recargables no se deben cargar debido al riesgo de explosión.
