2. INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
1. Asegúrese de que el voltaje de red coincida con el voltaje especificado en la etiqueta de
clasificación del producto y de que el enchufe tenga toma de tierra.
2. Este producto está diseñado exclusivamente para uso doméstico o comercial.
3. Coloque la máquina en una superficie segura, plana y estable, cerca de una toma de
corriente con conexión a tierra.
4. No sumerja el cable, el enchufe o cualquier otra parte del producto en agua o cualquier
otro líquido. No exponga las conexiones eléctricas al agua. Asegúrese de que tiene las
manos completamente secas antes de tocar el enchufe o encender el producto.
5. Inspeccione el cable de alimentación regularmente en busca de daños visibles. Si el cable
presenta daños, debe ser reparado por el Servicio de Asistencia Técnica oficial de Cecotec
para evitar cualquier tipo de peligro.
6. No retuerza, doble, estire o dañe el cable de alimentación. Protéjalo de bordes afilados y
fuentes de calor. No permita que el cable toque superficies calientes. No deje que el cable
asome sobre el borde de la superficie de trabajo o la encimera.
7. No permita que ninguna de las partes eléctricas del aparto entren en contacto con agua.
8. No utilice el producto en el exterior, cerca de placas eléctricas o de gas, de llamas o dentro
de hornos.
9. No exponga la máquina a temperaturas bajo 0.
10. El uso de accesorios no recomendados por el fabricante del producto podría causar riesgo
de incendio, descargas eléctricas u otros daños.
11. Nunca utilice agua caliente para rellenar el depósito de agua, utilice agua natural a
temperatura ambiente.
12. Mantenga las manos y los cables fuera del alcance de las zonas calientes del producto
mientras esté en funcionamiento.
13. No tire del cable de la máquina para moverla o transportarla.
14. No dirija el vapor ni el agua caliente hacia usted u otras personas para evitar quemaduras.
15. El aparato estará muy caliente durante e inmediatamente después de funcionar. Utilice
asas, guantes u otros accesorios de protección para evitar quemaduras.
16. No retire el cajetín durante el funcionamiento, ya que el agua caliente podría dañar la
superficie de la máquina, y coloque un vaso vacío debajo del dispensador de café al
encender y apagar el producto.
17. En caso de incendio, utilice extintores de CO2. No extinga el fuego con agua o extintores
de polvo.
18. No ponga la máquina a funcionar en vacío. Asegúrese de que hay suficiente agua antes
de cada uso.
19. El aparato no debe ser usado por niños desde 0 hasta 8 años. Este electrodoméstico puede
ser usado por niños a partir de 8 años de edad si están continuamente supervisados.

3. ANTES DE USAR
1. Saque el producto de la caja y retire todo el material de embalaje.
2. Extraiga el depósito de agua de la máquina de café y llénelo de agua natural.
3. Llene el depósito de granos de café.
4. Conecte el cable de alimentación a una toma de corriente.
5. Pulse el botón de encendido.
6. Deje que la máquina se caliente.
7. Seleccione la dureza del agua.
8. La máquina está lista para preparar café.
AVISO: se recomienda utilizar agua embotellada para obtener un sabor óptimo del café.

4. FUNCIONAMIENTO
TIPOS DE CAFÉ
- ESPRESSO (Café solo)
1. Pulse el botón para seleccionar café doble o 2 cafés.
2. Ajuste la salida de café a la altura deseada.
3. Pulse . La máquina preparará el/los cafés de forma automática.
- MACCHIATO (Café cortado)
1. Añada leche al depósito de leche. Se recomienda utilizar leche entera.
2. Coloque el depósito de leche junto con el espumador en su posición.
3. Pulse el botón para seleccionar un café doble o 2 cafés.
4. Pulse . La máquina preparará el/los cafés de forma automática.
- AGUA CALIENTE
1. Coloque un vaso vacío debajo de la salida de café.
2. Pulse el botón .
3. Una vez que tenga la cantidad deseada de agua, pulse de nuevo el botón para parar.

- SELECTOR DEL ESPUMADOR DE LECHE
Aviso: la calidad de la espuma de la leche dependerá del tipo de leche y la temperatura.
1. Abra la puerta izquierda. El selector del espumador de leche está situado en la esquina
superior derecha.
2. Gire el selector en el sentido de las agujas del reloj y colóquelo en la posición deseada.
3. Gírelo hacia la izquierda para seleccionar espuma gruesa o hacia la derecha para seleccionar
espuma fina.
4. Limpie el espumador de leche tras cada uso para evitar que se atasque en un futuro.
- SELECTOR DEL MOLINILLO DE CAFÉ
Aviso: no introduzca café molido, instantáneo o cualquier otro tipo de sustancias en el depósito
de granos de café. NUNCA utilice granos de café congelados.
1. Antes de poner la máquina en funcionamiento, ajuste el selector del molinillo de café
situado dentro del depósito de granos de café para seleccionar el grado de molienda.
• Si se observa que el flujo de café sale lento, es porque la textura del café utilizado es
demasiado fina. Pulse y gire el selector del molinillo de café en el sentido de las agujas del

reloj para obtener una textura más gruesa.
• Si se observa que el flujo de café sale muy rápido y aguado, es porque la textura del café
utilizado es demasiado gruesa. Pulse y gire el selector del molinillo de café en el sentido
contrario de las agujas del reloj para obtener una textura más fina.
- DUREZA DEL AGUA
• Pulse el botón (descalcificación) una vez para acceder a los ajustes de la dureza del agua.
• Utilice los botones “ ” y “ ” para seleccionar la dureza del agua:
1. Agua blanda
2. Agua media
3. Agua dura
4. Agua muy dura
MENÚ DE PERSONALIZACIÓN DE CAFÉS
• Pulse el botón MENÚ durante 3 segundos para acceder al menú de ajustes de
parámetros y seleccione el tipo de café deseado.
- ESPRESSO
1. Pulse el botón .
2. Utilice los botones “” y “ ” para seleccionar la cantidad de granos de café (g).
3. Pulse el botón para ir al siguiente paso.
4. Seleccione la cantidad de café.
5. Pulse el botón para seleccionar la temperatura.

- AJUSTE DE LA TEMPERATURA DEL CAFÉ
Una vez que estén configurados los ajustes de parámetros
del café:
1. Pulse el botón .
2. Utilice los botones “ ” y “ ” para seleccionar la
temperatura.
- CONFIGURACIÓN DEL APAGADO AUTOMÁTICO
Una vez que esté configurada la temperatura del café:
1. Pulse el botón .
2. Utilice los botones “ ” y “ ” para configurar la hora del
apagado automático (de 1 a 24 h).
- RESTAURAR LOS PARÁMETROS
Una vez que esté configurada la hora del apagado automático:
1. Pulse el botón .
2. Pulse el botón de (DOBLE) para restaurar los ajustes
de fábrica.
- DESCALCIFICACIÓN
1. Vierta el producto de descalcificación en un vaso.
2. Llene el depósito de agua de agua natural y añada el producto de descalcificación.
3. Pulse el botón (descalcificación) durante 3 segundos para activar la función de
descalcificación.
4. El producto de descalcificación se dispensará en intervalos.

5. La máquina finalizará el proceso de descalcificación.
6. Una vez que se haya utilizado toda el agua, extraiga el depósito y llénelo de agua otra vez.
7. La máquina comenzará el ciclo de aclarado.
8. Una vez que la máquina haya finalizado el ciclo de aclarado, volverá a la posición de standby.
5. SEÑALES DE ADVERTENCIA

6. Vacíe el contenedor de residuos.

7. La puerta derecha está abierta, ciérrela.
8. El depósito de agua no está en su sitio, colóquelo correctamente.
9. La máquina lleva a cabo un proceso de autolimpieza al encenderse.
6. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
1. Desconecte el cable de la toma de corriente de la pared antes de iniciar la limpieza. No
sumerja el producto en agua ni en ningún otro tipo de líquido durante la limpieza.
2. Utilice un paño suave y humedecido para limpiar la parte exterior de la cafetera.
3. La falta de mantenimiento y de limpieza del producto puede ocasionar el deterioro de su
superficie y afectar a su vida útil.
4. No utilice nunca detergentes fuertes, gasolina, abrasivos en polvo o cepillos metálicos
para limpiar ninguna de las partes del electrodoméstico.
5. Guarde el producto en un lugar seguro, seco y limpio si no va a ser utilizado durante un
periodo largo de tiempo.
6. Limpie tanto la parte visible como las partes más resguardadas para eliminar todos los
restos.

- LIMPIEZA DEL ESPUMADOR DE LECHE
1. Inserte el espumador de leche en la máquina.
2. Coloque el espumador dentro de un vaso de agua y ponga otro vaso debajo del dispensador
de leche.
3. Pulse el botón (leche) para comenzar la limpieza.
4. Una vez que haya terminado el proceso, vacíe el recipiente y repita el proceso hasta que no
se observen restos de leche.
1. Presione ambas partes del espumador y extráigalo de la salida de café.
2. Introduzca el espumador en un vaso de agua limpia.
3. Vuelva a introducir el espumador en la salida de café.

- LIMPIEZA DE LA UNIDAD DE ELABORACIÓN
1. Abra la puerta derecha.
2. Extraiga el contenedor de residuos.
3. Retire la unidad de elaboración y enjuáguela con agua caliente.
4. Inserte la unidad de elaboración de nuevo y espere a escuchar un “clic” para asegurarse de
que está colocado correctamente en su posición.

8. RECICLAJE DE ELECTRODOMÉSTICOS
La directiva europea 2012/19/UE sobre Residuos de Aparatos Eléctricos y Electrónicos
(RAEE) especifica que los electrodomésticos no deben ser reciclados con el resto de
los desperdicios municipales. Dichos electrodomésticos han de ser desechados de
forma separada, para optimizar la recuperación y reciclaje de materiales y, de esta manera,
reducir el impacto que puedan tener en la salud humana y el medioambiente.
El símbolo del contenedor tachado le recuerda su obligación de desechar este producto de
forma correcta. Si el producto en cuestión cuenta con una batería o pila para su autonomía
eléctrica, esta deberá extraerse antes de ser desechado y ser tratada a parte como un residuo
de diferente categoría.
Para obtener información detallada acerca de la forma más adecuada de desechar sus
electrodomésticos y/o las correspondientes baterías, el consumidor deberá contactar con las
autoridades locales.
9. GARANTÍA Y SAT
Este producto tiene una garantía de 2 años desde la fecha de compra, siempre y cuando se
conserve y envíe la factura de compra, el producto esté en perfecto estado físico y se le dé un
uso adecuado tal y como se indica en este manual de instrucciones.
La garantía no cubrirá:
• Si el producto ha sido usado fuera de su capacidad o utilidad, maltratado, golpeado,
expuesto a la humedad, sumergido en algún líquido o substancia corrosiva, así como
cualquier otra falta atribuible al consumidor.
• Si el producto ha sido desarmado, modificado o reparado por personas no autorizadas por
el SAT oficial de Cecotec.
• Si la incidencia ha sido originada por el desgaste normal de las piezas debido al uso.
El servicio de garantía cubre todos los defectos de fabricación durante 2 años en base a la
legislación vigente, excepto piezas consumibles. En caso de mal uso por parte del usuario el
servicio de garantía no se hará responsable de la reparación. Si en alguna ocasión detecta
una incidencia con el producto o tiene alguna consulta, póngase en contacto con el Servicio de
Asistencia Técnica oficial de Cecotec a través del número de teléfono +34 96 321 07 28.

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual
for future reference or new users.
1. Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the
appliance and that the wall outlet is grounded.
2. This appliance is for household or commercial use only.
3. Place the machine on a safe, flat, stable surface, near to a grounded socket.
4. Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part of the appliance in water or
any other liquid, nor expose the electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are
dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
5. Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec in order to avoid any type of danger.
6. Do not twist, bend, strain, or damage the power cord in any way. Protect it from sharp
edges and heat sources. Do not let it touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cord hang over the
edge of the working surface or countertop.
7. Do not allow water to come into contact with any of the electrical parts of the machine.
8. Do not use outdoors, near a gas or electric hob, in heated ovens or near open flames.
9. Do not expose the machine to temperatures below 0 degrees.
10. The use of accessories not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in
fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
11. Never use hot water to fill the water tank, use always cold water.
12. Keep your hands and the cord away from the appliance’s hot parts during operation.
13. Do not use the cord to carry or pull the coffee machine.
14. Do not direct hot steam or hot water towards yourself or others in order to avoid burns.
15. The appliance will be very hot during and immediately after operating. Use handles,
gloves or other protection accessories to avoid burns.
16. Do not remove the drip tray during operation, as hot water may cause damage to the machine,
and place an empty cup under the dispensing spout when the machine is turned on or off.
17. In case of fire, use Co2 extinguishers. Do not use water or dry powder extinguishers.
18. Do not operate the machine empty. Make sure there is enough water before each use.
19. The appliance is not intended to be used by children under the age of 8. It can be used by
children over the age of 8, as long as they are given continuous supervision.
20. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as

1. Open the left door. The milk-frother knob is located in the top-right corner.
