tion).
When the computer receives a speed or cadence signal, or any of the buttons is
pressed, the power-saving mode is cancelled, and the normal display returns.

Pressing the lap button during data measurement records lap time/average, split
time/trip distance, average lap heart rate, and average lap cadence for up to 199 inter-
vals.
Recorded lap data can be recalled on the lap viewing screen. (See page 26.)
Backlight

Second measurement
The second measurement is another measuring method, different from the main
measurement described on page 16.
A second elapsed time, trip distance, and average speed can be recorded indepen-
dently of the main measurement.
How to switch to the second measurement:
When the MODE-2 button is pressed for two seconds, Display-5 switches to the
second measurement screen with the elapsed time TM-2 displayed on the top
and the trip distance DST-2 displayed at the bottom.
Each press on the MODE-2 button switches the bottom display between the elapsed
distance DST-2 and the average speed AVS-2.
When the MODE-2 button is pressed for two seconds, the system returns to the
main measurement.
Starting /stopping the second measurement
With the second measurement icon illuminated, press the START/STOP/ENTER
