Capteur principal d'appareil / Sans-Fils
ATTENTION !
Proper use of the Cat Eye CD300DW
Observe the following instructions for safe usage.
Warning!!!
Do not concentrate on the data while riding. Always be sure to ride safely.
Do not leave any battery within the reach of children, and dispose of it cor-
rectly. If a child swallows a battery, consult a doctor immediately.
Main unit / Wireless sensor
CAUTION !
Avoid leaving the main unit / wireless sensor in hot direct sunlightfor ex-
tended periods of time.
Do not disassemble the main unit or the sensors.
Regularly check the positions of the magnet and the sensor; check also to
see if they are securely mounted.
Do not use paint thinner or rubbing alcohol to clean the unit.
Wireless sensor
NOTE
The sensor was designed to receive signals within a limited range to prevent
sensor signal interference. For this reason, excessive separation between a sensor
and the main unit may make reception impossible. Ensure that the distance
between the sensor and the main unit is within 100 cm / 39.4 inches or less. The
minimum transmission distance of the sensor is 20 cm. (Note that the receiving
distance is a rough estimate.)
CAUTION !
The following objects and places generate strong electromagnetic wave and
interference, which cause incorrect measurement:
1. TV, PC, radios, motors/engines, or in cars and trains.
2. Railroad crossings and near railway tracks, around television transmitting
stations and radar bases.
Do not drop the main unit or the sensor; prevent them from receiving any
strong shock.
For precise measurement, do not use the main unit together with other cordless
devices. Doing so may cause incorrect measurement.
Important Note:
Do not over-rotate or force the Sensor Arms as this may cause the sensor to
malfunction.
