28 Utilizzo e funzionamento
In questo capitolo riceverà indicazioni importanti sull’utilizzo dell’apparecchio. Osservi le
indicazioni per evitare pericoli e danni.

► Non lasci l’apparecchio incustodito durante il suo funzionamento, per poter agire
rapidamente, in caso di pericoli.
28.1 Fondamenti della cottura a microonde
• La potenza ed il tempo necessari per la cottura/riscaldamento del preparato di cottura
dipende tra l'altro dalla temperatura di partenza, dalla quantità e dalla qualità dei cibi.
Utilizzi il tempo di cottura indicato più basso e allunghi la procedura, se necessario.
• Distribuisca accuratamente il preparato da cuocere. Piazzi le parti più spesse sul bordo
più esterno della scodella.
• Copra il preparato da cuocere durante la cottura. Coperchi proteggono da spruzzi e
contribuiscono alla cottura/al riscaldamento omogeneo.
• Durante il riscaldamento, il preparato da cuocere andrebbe girato, disposto
diversamente o rimestato diverse volte per ottenere una distribuzione omogenea della
temperatura.
• Eventuali germi nei cibi verranno repressi solo con una temperatura sufficientemente
elevata (> 70 °C) e con un tempo sufficientemente lungo (> 10 min).
• Prodotti alimentari con una pelle o con una buccia consistente, come pomodori,
salsicce, patate e melanzane dovranno essere forate diverse volte oppure intagliate,
affinché il vapore, che si crea, possa fuoriuscire, senza che i prodotti alimentari
scoppino.
• Le uova senza guscio potranno essere cotte nel forno a microonde, solo se la pelle del
tuorlo è stata preventivamente forata diverse volte. Altrimenti il tuorlo potrebbe
spruzzare fuori con un’elevata pressione, al termine della cottura.
• Dopo metà cottura giri i cibi come le polpettine in modo tale che la parte inferiore venga
rivolta verso l'alto e la parte centrale venga a trovarsi al bordo, e viceversa.
28.2 Modalità di funzionamento
L’apparecchio può essere fatto funzionare in diverse modalità di funzionamento. La
seguente lista visualizza le possibili modalità di funzionamento dell’apparecchio:
