45.2 Consejos acerca de la vajilla para microondas
El material ideal de la vajilla para la cocción con microondas es
aquel que deja pasar las microondas y permite utilizar toda la
energía para calentar el alimento.
Tenga en cuenta los siguientes consejos para la elección de la
vajilla correcta:
► Las microondas no pueden atravesar el metal. No se deben
utilizar utensilios de metal ni vajilla con decoraciones de
metal.
► Para la cocción con microondas, no utilice productos con
papel reciclado ya que pueden contener fragmentos de
metal y provocar chispas y/o fuego.
► Utilice vajilla redonda u ovalada en vez de cuadrada o
rectangular ya que los alimentos se podrían estancar en los
rincones y sobrecalentar.
► Se pueden utilizar pequeñas tiras de papel de aluminio para
proteger las partes sensibles del sobrecalentamiento. No
utilice demasiado papel de aluminio y mantenga una
distancia de unos 2,5 cm entre el papel de aluminio y las
paredes de la cámara de cocción.
► No utilice papel de aluminio cuando cocine con microondas
o alguna combinación con microondas (ver tabla).
