User Maintenance
Periodically clean the projector exterior, lens, intake vents, and exhaust vents on a regular basis.
Cleaning Intake and Exhaust Vents
Dust and dirt tend to collect around the intake vents. Because of this, you should use a vacuum cleaner
to clean away accumulated dust and dirt periodically.
Important!Important!Important!
Continued use of the projector after dust has accumulated around the intake vents can cause
overheating of internal components and lead to malfunction.
Certain operating conditions also can cause dirt and dust to accumulate around the projector’s
exhaust vents on the front. If this happens, use the same procedure as that described above to
clean the exhaust vents.
Should the light source lamp stop working, contact your original dealer or authorized CASIO service
center for replacement.
Indicators keep you informed about the current operational status of the projector. The following shows
what the indicators look like when operation is normal.
When a warning message appears on the projection screen, or when the POWER, TEMP, and LAMP
indicators are lit or flashing in a pattern other than those shown above, it means that a projector error
has occurred. For details about indicators and warning messages, see the User’s Guide on the
CD-ROM that comes with the projector.
