Vor der Benutzung des Höhenmessers

Der Höhenmesser der Uhr kann so konfiguriert werden, dass die
Höhenmesswerte automatisch anhand von Positions-Infos (GPS) korrigiert
werden (nicht unterstützt, wenn die WSD-F10 mit einem iPhone verbunden
ist). Nehmen Sie zur Nutzung dieser Funktion die nachstehenden
Einstellungen vor.

Stellen Sie an der Uhr und am Smartphone „Standort“ richtig ein.
Näheres hierzu finden Sie unter Schritt 1 von „Vorbereiten der Uhr für die
Outdoor-Benutzung“.

Stellen Sie „An“ für „Höhenkorrektur mit Standort“ ein.
Lesen Sie „Allgemeine Einstellungen der Outdoor-Funktion“ und führen
Sie dann den Vorgang von „Höhenkorrektur mit Standort“ aus.

Da die Uhr die relative Höhe mit Bezug auf die Änderungen des Luftdrucks
anzeigt, können sich durch Schwankungen des örtlichen Luftdrucks am
selben Ort unterschiedliche oder falsche Höhenmesswerte ergeben.
„Höhenkorrektur mit Standort“ verwendet GPS-Informationen zur Korrektur
der Höhenwerte. Da GPS-Informationen generell einen gewissen Fehler
enthalten, kann sich dennoch eine beträchtliche Abweichung zwischen den
von der Uhr gemessenen Höhenwerten und etwaigen konkreten
Höhenangaben vor Ort ergeben. Wenn Sie beim Klettern oder Wandern
genaue Höhenmesswerte wünschen, empfiehlt es sich, manuell die örtlich
angegebenen Höhenwerte einzugeben. Lesen Sie „Allgemeine
Einstellungen der Outdoor-Funktion“ und führen Sie dann den Vorgang von
„Höhenkalibrierung“ aus.

Halten Sie die Uhr beim Vornehmen von Höhenmessungen auf einer
möglichst stabilen Temperatur. Im Interesse einer hohen Präzision legen
Sie die Uhr bitte schon einige Zeit vor den Messungen an, damit sich ihre
Temperatur am Handgelenk stabilisieren kann. Schwankungen der
Drucksensor-Temperatur können Messfehler verursachen.
