This is the replacement separation pad. For the replacement procedure,

If you connect the scanner to the optional Wi-Fi Unit WU10 you can
transmit image data from the scanner to a smartphone, tablet PC, or other
smart device.
The operating environment is compatible with Wi-Fi Unit WU10 system
requirements. In order to use this accessory, it is necessary to install the
scanner wireless utility.
