Steek het document in de transport hoes.
Er is in de scanner een instelling voor drie transporthoezen
tegelijk mogelijk.

Laad het document met het dichte uiteinde van de
transport hoes het eerst.
Nadat u het document hebt geplaatst, lijnt u de
documentgeleider uit met de beide randen van het document.
LET OP
Als het document niet correct in de transport hoes zit, kan het
document vastlopen of krijgt u geen goed scanbeeld.
ATTENTIE
• Steek documenten recht in het midden van de transport hoes.
Het scannen gaat niet goed als het document te dicht naar één
kant zit, scheef zit of uit de transport hoes steekt.
• De maximale dikte die u kunt scannen is 127 g/m
2
. Als de dikte
meer dan 127 g/m
2
bedraagt, werkt de scanner mogelijk niet
door problemen zoals een papierstoring.
• Wanneer u paspoorten scant, gebruikt u de meegeleverde
transport hoes voor paspoorten.
• De transport hoes is een verbruiksartikel. Vervang deze door
een nieuwe als duidelijk is dat deze beschadigd is of als er
vlekken op zitten.
• Als globale richtlijn vervangt u de transport hoes na 1000
scanhandelingen met een vel van 80 g/m
2
(22 lb bond)
ingestoken.
De Langdocumentmodus instellen
De lengte van documenten die u kunt scannen met de scanner is
normaal gesproken 356 mm (14.02"), maar u kunt ook documenten
scannen met een maximale lengte van 5588 mm (220") in de
Langdocumentmodus. (200 dpi grijsschaal)
ATTENTIE
Door de Langdocumentmodus te selecteren en de [Paginaformaat]
in de scannerstuurprogramma-instellingen in te stellen op
[Automatische detectie], kunt u documenten tot 5588 mm (220)
lengte scannen. Houd rekening met de volgende punten wanneer u
de Langdocumentmodus gebruikt:
• Wanneer u in de modus Lang document scant terwijl het document
scheef in de scanner is geplaatst, kan het document de randen van
het invoergebied raken en beschadigd raken. Zorg ervoor dat u het
document niet scheef plaatst.
• Wanneer u de Langdocumentmodus gebruikt, kan het zijn dat de
papierstoringdetectie langzamer reageert en uw document wordt
beschadigd. Probeer vastlopen zoveel mogelijk te voorkomen.
