CFexpress is hot. Be careful when taking it out.
-CFexpress card became hot. Be careful not to drop the card when removing it.
CFexpress is too hot and stopped recording. Check [Card Slot Temp. Info] and restart recording.
-CFexpress card’s temperature has risen and reached a predetermined level, causing recording to stop. Check the card
slot temperature on the [BSystem Setup] status screen. If the temperature exceeds the red line on the graph, turn off
the camera and wait until the temperature has decreased.
Check the memory card
- Cannot access the card. If the card is correctly inserted, remove it. Check it has no defects or other problems and then
reinsert it.
- A card error occurred and recording/playback is not possible. Try removing and reinserting the card or replace it.
-You inserted a MultiMedia Card (MMC) into the camera. Use a recommended SD card (A34).
- If after the message disappears, or appears in red, perform the following: Turn off the camera and remove and
reinsert the card. If or turns back to green you can resume recording/playback. If the problem persists, save your
recordings and initialize the card (A36).
Cover is open
- The card compartment cover was open when the camera was turned on or switched to CAMERA mode. Insert a card
and close the card compartment cover.
Currently, the accessory cannot be used
-There was a communication error between the camera and the accessory attached to the multi-function shoe. Turn
the camera off and then on again.
Currently, the accessory cannot be used
Please check the accessory power status
- Low remaining battery charge for the accessory attached to the multi-function shoe. Use a fully charged battery.
Fan error
- The cooling fan may not be working properly. The camera will turn off automatically after a few minutes. Consult a
Canon Service Center.
File name error
- RAW/XF-AVC clip numbers or MP4 clip/photo numbers have reached their maximum value. Save your recordings and
initialize the card (A36) or delete all the recordings (A147).
If you change this setting, you will not be able to use the current Look File.
- The Look File’s adjustments to the image quality cannot be applied because the [Gamma/Color Space], [HLG Color],
[Over 100%] settings in the custom picture file are different from those registered with the Look File. Change these
settings or register a different Look File.
Insufficient power. The lens does not work.
-The selected combination of power source and recording settings cannot be used with the attached lens. Use the
> [BSystem Setup] > [Power Source Navigation] function to check the available power source/recording
settings combination (A29).
Invalid operation
- The following are not valid operations and cannot be performed.
In MEDIA mode, during playback, trying to add a shot mark to a frame that has one already.
Trying to add an $ mark and a % mark to the same clip.
•Pressing the REC button when no cards are inserted in the camera.
Lens error Turn the camera off, then on again.
-There was a communication error between the camera and the lens. Turn the camera off and then on again.
Lens firmware update Firmware update failed. Try updating again.
-The lenss firmware could not be correctly updated. Try updating the firmware again.
Low Power Warning Check the power supply.
- The input power supplied to the camera (DC coupler) or the remaining recording/playback time for the battery has
reached the level set for the power level warning. Check the power source.
-The message appears every time you press the REC button when the power supply is too low (as described above).
Magnification is not available when recording MP4 video with 7680x4320 or higher resolution and [HDMI Output
Signal] is set to 3840x2160 or higher.
- Magnification is not available when recording video in MP4 format with a resolution of 8192x4320/7680x4320 and the
resolution for video output from the HDMI OUT terminal is set to 4096x2160 or 3840x2160.
