Beschreibung der Programmkurve
Auf der unteren, waagerechten Achse ist die Verschlusszeit und auf der rechten, senkrechten
Achse ist die Blendenzahl dargestellt. Die von der Programmautomatik ermittelten
Kombinationen aus Verschlusszeit und Blendenzahl werden als farbige Linien dargestellt, mit
Bezug auf die Motivhelligkeit (Belichtungswert), die auf der linken und oberen Kante des
Diagramms angegeben ist.
Beispiel: Bei einem Objektiv vom Typ EF50 F1,4 USM und einer Motivhelligkeit von EV12 gibt
der Schnittpunkt der Diagonalen von EV12 (Oberkante) mit der Programmkurve die
entsprechende von der Programmautomatik gewählte Verschlusszeit (1/350
Sekunde) und Blendenzahl (f/3,5) an. Die diagonalen Pfeile oben links geben den
Messbereich für die angegebene Filmempfindlichkeit (ISO) an.
