DEVICE PURPOSE
The device is infrared thermometer, intended to measure the temperature on babies’ and old people’s forehead, without
having any contact to human body. It can be used by the users in home or hospital environment.
INTRODUCTION
Contactless thermometer is made by using the newest infrared technology. This allows measurement of the temperature on
the superficial temporal artery (TA) to be made from distance from the forehead from 3 to 5 cm. Precise, fast and wireless,
this thermometer is the most suitable for measuring the temperature without risk at the moment. Following studies prove that
the method of measuring temperature of TA is more precise than using tympanic thermometry and better tolerated than
rectal thermometry (1).
However, as other types of thermometer, Easy Check must be used correctly to obtain reliable and stable results. Therefore
we advise carefully to read the manual and the safety measures before using the product.
