* El agua de los alimentos o la que accede al interior del producto a través del aire cuando se abren las
puertas, puede formar una capa de escarcha en el interior. Esto debilita el aparato cuando la escarcha es
gruesa por lo que cuando supere los 2 mm de grosor deberá descongelarlo.
* El modo de descongelación en el congelador es manual, antes de descongelar retire los alimentos, la
cubitera y la balda y colóquelos en una cámara fría de forma temporal y luego ponga el mando del
regulador de la temperatura en la posición “0” (el compresor dejará de trabajar) y deje la puerta abierta
hasta que el hielo y la escarcha se disuelvan completamente depositándose en el fondo del congelador,
seque el agua con un paño. Para acelerar el proceso de descongelación puede colocar una tinaja con
agua caliente (unos 50ºC) en el interior del congelador. Una vez descongelado, asegúrese de colocar el
mando del regulador de temperatura en la posición inicial.
* No es aconsejable calentar el congelador directamente con agua caliente o un secador de pelo mientras
se está descongelando para evitar deformaciones en el interior del congelador.
* Tampoco es aconsejable rascar el hielo y la escarcha o separar la comida de los recipientes en los que
ha sido congelada con una cuchilla o espátulas de madera para no dañar el interior del congelador o la
superficie del evaporador.
* Si el cable eléctrico del electrodoméstico está dañado sólo se puede reemplazar en una tienda de
reparaciones designada por el fabricante ya que se requieren herramientas especiales.
