Two ways to assemble the Campingaz
®
CV 470
PLUS gas cartridge:
1 - The screw connector is attached to the device
first:
a - Insert the screw connector (3) into the housing
designed for it (located at the rear of the devi-
ce - fig. 6) while positioning the fail-safe pointer
(mark D - fig. 6) in the corresponding hole.
Screw the connector into the device.
b - Connect the gas cylinder (fig. 7): hold the
EASY CLICK connector and gently screw on
the gas cylinder, turning in the direction indica-
ted in figure 7 until you hear a click (approxi-
mately one-sixth of a turn). Do not screw the
cartridge any tighter: you risk damaging the
cartridge valve. The cartridge must always be
mounted in a vertical position.
2 - The gas cartridge is attached to the connector
first:
a - Connect the gas cartridge to the EASY CLICK
(3) connector (fig. 7): holding the EASY CLICK
connector, gently screw on the cartridge, tur-
ning in the direction indicated in figure 7 until
you hear a click (approximately one-sixth of a
turn). Do not screw the cartridge any tighter:
you risk damaging the cartridge valve. The car-

position.
b - Insert the screw connector (3) in the housing
designed to hold it (located at the rear of the

In case of leakage (gas smell before opening the
valve), immediately put the equipment outside, in a
well-ventilated area, away from any possible inflamma-
ble source where it will be possible to locate and stop
the leak. If you wish to check the tightness of the equip-
ment, do it outside. Do not try to locate a leak with a
flame, use gas leak detection liquid.
