C - USE
D - REMOVING THE CYLINDER
(The cylinder may be removed without being empty.)
- Wait for the stove to cool down.
- Check that the gas inlet is fully closed by turning the
two control knobs (1) clockwise as far as they will go (“-”
direction of the arrow) (Fig. 3).
- Make sure that the two burners (5) are extinguished.
Camping Duo™ Plus R / Camping Duo™ Grill R (Fig. 11):
- for each leg, remove the two metal rods from their housing
applying inwards pressure (Fig. 4a), then place the two
legs in the exterior position by removing them from their
housing.
- Turn the stove anti-clockwise to unscrew it from the cylinder
(see Fig. 12 for the Camping Duo™ R).
Additional instructions:
Never use your equipment at a distance of less than 25
cm from a wall or combustible object.
Should it leak (smell of gas), close the tap.
Position the equipment on a stable, horizontal surface and
do not move when in use so as to avoid the appearance
of large flames resulting from the combustion of liquid
butane rather than vaporised butane.
Should this occur, position the equipment and turn the
tap off.
Set the cooker at low power when using flat metallic
utensils such as a toaster or a rack for toasting bread.
Never use your stove without having first positioned the
legs vertically. (Camping Duo™ Plus R / Camping Duo™
Grill R)
Lighting (5) (Fig. 7)
- Hold a flame close to the burner (5) and gradually turn on
the gas by turning the control knob (1) anticlockwise.
Cooking with a saucepan
If the stove has been used with the cooking plates, remove
them (making sure that they are cold).
Position the pan on the arms centred over the burner and
adjust the gas flow so that the flames do not burn higher
than the pan.
Cooking with the plates (Camping Duo™ Grill R)
- Install the grease tray (3) in its housing between the two
burners (Fig. 8).
- Position the cooking plates (4) as indicated in Figure 9. The
roundest parts face outwards (Fig. 10).
- Check that the grease evacuation hole from the grooved
plate is fully centred in the stove, just above the grease tray
(Fig. 10).
We recommend that you use gloves for this installation.
The grooved cooking plate is intended for grilling.
The smooth cooking plate is intended for eggs.
The grill plate may be oiled lightly to prevent food sticking
during cooking.
Adjust the gas flow rate to suit the type of cooking.
Switching off
- Close the tap by turning the control knob (1) clockwise as
far as it will go (direction “-” of the arrow). Fully tighten the
wheel to ensure that the gas is completely turned off (fig.
3).
Camping Duo™ Plus R (fig. 12):
- Turn the stove anti-clockwise to unscrew it from the cylinder.
Check that the seal is installed and in good condition (Fig. 2)
before screwing the stove onto a full cylinder following the
instructions in paragraph “Installation on a CAMPINGAZ® 904
or 907 cylinder”.
