Bestimmen Sie den optimalen Montageort der Antenne.

Die Antenne sollte dort installiert werden, wo:

1. die Antenne eine klare Sicht zum Satelliten zeigt.Es kann damit ein

störungsfreier Empfang ermöglicht werden.

2. die Antenne mindestens 5 Meter von anderen Sende- Einheiten

(HF, VHF und Radar)entfernt ist, da diese Störungen generieren

können. Je weiter die Antenne entfernt ist, desto weniger Auswir-

kungen haben sie auf den Betrieb.Wenn diese Bedingungen nicht

vollständig erfüllt werden können, wählen Sie bei der Standortwahl

zwangsläugden„besten“Kompromissumeinbestmögliches

Ergebnis zu erzielen.

Determine the optimum mounting location for the antenna random

assembly. It should be installed where:

1. The antenna has a clear line-of-sight view to as much of the sky as

is practical. Choose a location where masts or other structures do

not block the satellite signal from the dish as the vessel turns.

2. The antenna is at least 5 feet away from other transmitting anten-

nas (HF, VHF and radar) that may generate signals that may inter-

fere with the antenna. The further away the antenna is from these

other antennas, the less impact their operation will have on it.

inevitably be a “best” compromise between the various considera-

tions.
