HDMI-Anschlüsse
HDMI (High-Definition Multi-Media Interface; hochauflösende Multimedia-Schnittstelle)
ist ein Digitalanschluss, über den sowohl Audio als auch Video übertragen werden.
Durch eine direkte digitale Übertragung des Videos und die Unterstützung für
verschiedene Arten von High Definition-Videoinhalten ist dies in punkto Bildqualität die
beste Anschlussart.
Da HDMI sowohl das Audio- als auch das Videosignal übertragen kann, ist ein
Anschluss über HDMI zur Dekodierung von Surround Sound usw. auch an AV-Receivern
möglich, welche diese Funktion unterstützen. In der Abbildung rechts ist mit Punkt 1
ein direkter Anschluss an ein Fernsehgerät abgebildet, während Punkt 2 die
Verbindung über HDMI In/Out an einen Surround Sound-Receiver darstellt.
Der DVI-Ausgang (Digital Video Interface; digitale Videoschnittstelle) kann mithilfe
eines DVI-HDMI-Adapters verwendet werden, da diese zwei Anschlussarten
miteinander kompatibel sind. Bei Verwendung von DVI wird nur das Videosignal an
das Fernsehgerät bzw. an den Monitor übertragen. Sie müssen zusätzlich eine analoge
oder digitale Audioverbindung vom DV30 zum AV-Receiver oder Fernsehgerät
herstellen.
