Tænd-/slukknap
Bruges til at tænde og slukke for afspilleren.
Vekselstrømsstik
Når alle tilslutninger til forstærkeren er oprettet, sættes
vekselstrømskablet i en stikkontakt. Cd-afspilleren er nu klar til brug.
IR (infrarød) emitter ind
Gør det muligt for forstærkeren at modtage modulerede IR-kommandoer
fra flerrumssystemer eller IR-gentagesystemer. Kommandoer, der
modtages her, loopes ikke ud af kontrolbussen. Afsnittet om
specialinstallationer indeholder flere oplysninger.
Kontrolbus
Ind - Gør det muligt for afspilleren at modtage umodulerede
kommandoer fra flerrumssystemer eller andre komponenter.
Ud - Loop out for kontrolbuskommandoer til en anden enhed.
Digitale udgange
En separat DAC-enhed eller en digital optageenhed kan tilsluttes via de
digitale udgange. Den avancerede DSP-software i 740C gør det endda
muligt at indstille disse udgange til udsendelse af rådata (pass through)
eller upsamplede data uafhængigt af hovedaudioudgangene. Der er
mere information i afsnittet ”Betjeningsvejledning”.
S/P DIF koaksial digital - De bedste resultater opnås ved at bruge et
digitalt RCA-forbindelseskabel på 75 ohm i høj kvalitet (ikke et kabel
beregnet til normal audiobrug).
Toslink optisk digital - Brug et fiberoptisk TOSLINK-forbindelseskabel
i høj kvalitet, der er beregnet specifikt til audiobrug.
Brug kun en af de to udgangstyper ad gangen.

Med de digitale indgange er det muligt at tilslutte andre
kildekomponenters digitale udgange til 740C. 740C kan herefter
fungere som en upsampling-DAC af meget høj kvalitet og dermed
forbedre lydkvaliteten i de andre kilder, der er tilsluttet. To digitale
indgange giver mulighed for at tilslutte to eksterne kilder:
S/P DIF koaksial digital - Brug et digitalt RCA-forbindelseskabel på 75
ohm i høj kvalitet (ikke et kabel beregnet til normal audiobrug).
Toslink optisk digital - Brug et fiberoptisk TOSLINK-forbindelseskabel i
høj kvalitet, der er beregnet specifikt til audiobrug.
Brug kun en af de to indgangstyper til hver indgang ad gangen.
Linjeudgang
Anvend gode RCA/phono-kvalitetskabler fra disse udgange til en hvilken
som helst linjeindgang på din forstærker.
