2.1 AANSLUITEN VAN DE DIGITALE ONTVANGER OP UW TELEVISIE
Om gebruik te kunnen maken van digitale televisie, haalt u de COAX-kabel
die u op dit moment gebruikt los van de televisie. De COAX-kabel geeft het
binnenkomende signaal in uw woning door vanaf de hoofdaansluiting naar
uw televisie. Deze kabel sluit u nu rechtstreeks aan op de digitale ontvanger,
op de plaats waar CABLE IN staat.
De bij uw ontvanger meegeleverde COAX-kabel plaatst u in de tv/VCR
uitgang van de digitale ontvanger en in de CABLE IN-ingang van de televisie.
De meegeleverde SCART-kabel plaatst u in de tv SCART-uitgang van de
digitale ontvanger en in een SCART-ingang (bijv. AV1 of EX1) van de
televisie.
U heeft nu een basisopstelling gemaakt waarmee u digitale televisie kunt
kijken. Zie het schema hieronder:
1 COAX-kabel die wordt aangesloten vanaf de hoofdaansluiting naar de
aansluiting CABLE IN (digitale ontvanger).
2 Televisieverbinding tussen de digitale ontvanger en de televisie (hierop
wordt een SCART-kabel of HDMI-kabel aangesloten).
3 Stroomstekker die aangesloten moet worden op een vast stopcontact.
Verschil tussen SCART- en HDMI-kabel
Een SCART-kabel (links) zorgt ervoor dat er een standaard digitaal signaal
wordt doorgegeven.
Een HDMI-kabel (rechts) zorgt ervoor dat er een HD-signaal wordt
doorgegeven.

2.2 AANSLUITEN VAN RANDAPPARATUUR OP DE DIGITALE
ONTVANGER (BIJVOORBEELD EEN DVD-RECORDER)
Op uw digitale ontvanger kunt u bijvoorbeeld een DVD- of videorecorder
aansluiten. Hiervoor moet u de COAX-kabels en SCART-kabels op een juiste
manier aansluiten.
Aansluiten van de COAX-kabels
1 Maak de COAX-kabel die uw DVD-recorder verbindt met de hoofdaan-
sluiting in uw woning los van uw DVD-recorder. Plaats deze kabel in de
Cable In-ingang van de digitale ontvanger.
2 Plaats de meegeleverde COAX-kabel in de tv/VCR-uitgang van de
digitale ontvanger en plaats het andere uiteinde in de Cable In-ingang
van uw DVD-recorder.
3 De COAX-kabel die al geplaatst is tussen de DVD-recorder en uw
televisie blijft aangesloten.
