• Reinig ook het valgat van de pellets met een essenwisser (zie Fig. 43 op pag. 30).
• De as moet in een metalen bak met hermetisch gesloten deksel gedaan worden en deze bak mag nooit in
aanraking met brandbaar materiaal komen (als hij bijvoorbeeld op een houten vloer gezet wordt) omdat de
as in de bak de kool nog heel lang brandend houdt).
• Pas wanneer de as gedoofd is kan ze weggegooid worden bij het organische afval.
• Let op de vlam, als deze rood wordt, zwak is of zwarte rook afgeeft: in dat geval is de vuurpot door afzettingen
verstopt en moet gereinigd worden (zie Fig. 40 op pag. 30). Indien versleten moet hij vervangen worden.
15.3 REINIGING VAN DE VERBRANDINGSKAMER
De verbrandingskamer en de kamer waarin de aslade zit moeten iedere week worden schoongemaakt.

• Open de deur.
• Neem de vuurpot en de aslade weg en maak ze schoon.
• Maak schoon door de as weg te zuigen die zich in de verbrandingskamer (zie Fig. 44 op pag. 31) en in de
kamer van de aslade (zie Fig. 45 op pag. 31) heeft opgestapeld.
• Zuig ook de as weg die zich in het bovenste deel heeft opgestapeld van de leidingen die in de
verbrandingskamer aanwezig zijn (zie Fig. 46 op pag. 31).
15.4 REINIGING VOORRAADBAK EN TRANSPORTSCHROEF
Bij iedere bijvulling met pellets moet de eventuele aanwezigheid van poeder/zaagsel of ander afval op de
bodem van de voorraadbak gecontroleerd worden. Is dergelijk afval aanwezig, dan moet het verwijderd
worden met behulp van een alleszuiger (zie Fig. 47 op pag. 31).

Het rooster dat de handen bescherming biedt, mag nooit uit zijn zitting verwijderd worden.
Reinig de bodem van de voorraadbak en het zichtbare deel van de transportschroef
grondig en uitsluitend zoals op de foto getoond wordt (zie Fig. 47 op pag. 31).
15.5 REINIGING ROOKGASSENKAMER
Reinig de rookgassenkamer om de 4/8 weken.
